Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is updated and consists of multiple courses relevant to contemporary world Curriculum prepares for future jobs in social work, civil services and reasearch techonology can be used more for teaching and assignment activities.Exams are moderately difficult and intenal exams are held twice in one semester.
Internships Opportunities
Interships are offered acoording to demand of course as well as interest of the student humanities and arts students get intership in social and think tank organizations where as science student get opportunities in reasearch tech etc Monthly spitends varies between 7k-15k
Placement Experience
Our dept (politics and international relations) offer less placements from other engineering or management departments still many tech and social work companies come and offer pacakages approx 5-7 lakh to recruit students hightest packages are around 10 lakhs I plan to do further research in this field after my undergrad
Fees and Financial Aid
Overall fee in 1st year was around ?55,000 (including mess,hostel fees,caution deposit,development fee etc) and from 2nd year fee is ?45,000(including hostel and mess fees).There is exam fee of around ?400 every semester.Students from reserved communities are offered scholarships from their state govs and NSP.University offers separate scholarship to Top 3 students from each class based on semester exam performances.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good the campus is lush green and very beautiful there are no restrictions one can go anywhere at anytime without any questions asked there are 2 sports stadium basketball court badminton court and tennis court there are many departmental functions and fests and the highlights are management and holi fests there are few student political organisation also
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good the mess food is not that great and the same menu is repeated each room is shared between three students which is a bit conjusted hostel has all the essential facilties with 24×7 security and no as such restrictions hostel is very affordable and every student is given hostel accommodation
Admission
I chose this university because of its inclusive nature since students from all over india come to study here I also got selected in other universities like Central university karnataka central university andhra pradesh etc I chose this course here because of its good reviews and reputation in research fields Fee structure is also suited me so i came here
Faculty
Faculties are friendly and approchable and highly qualified and helping ,most of them can speak many languages and the exams are moderate and there will be 2 internals and 1 final exam every semester and assignment also Internals are worth 30 marks assignment is worth 10 marks and externals are worth 60 marks
