SEAL and PU

The diversity in this course is a huge attraction but uni failed to executive this course properly and when it comes to teaching method french and law were quiet good very experienced proffesors are there and political science is somewhat ok but when comes to scholar literally they will be having some ppt and they read it out that's sit you just have to make note from what he read and what you heard that's sit Talking about exam timings french and law are good they complete their syllabus and keep exams on time. Political science dept they conducted exam for us at first as we requested later they repeated the same paper to their students which totally unfair History and sociology depts literally they allot the scholars in last 1 month of the semester and the whole teaching and exams including internals and externals were conducted and completed in one month along with assignment submissions

As is joined in 2023 in the 1st sem I paid 16000/- for course fee and 16681/- for mess fee in the 2nd sem the course fee I paid was 3200/- and 9990/- for mess and for girls there is no hostel fee it's free and University provide merit cum scholarship for every sem in the 1st sem the scholarship will be given based on CUET exam and in the 2nd sem it's based on 1st sem marks like top three students get merit cum scholarship

The campus life of people is amazing like it's another vibe here because especially it's known for its night life and when it comes to infrastructure there are currently 9 hostels for girls and 13 hostels for boys and as a ug 1st year we got very old hostels they are good but little renovation is needed ofcourse but maintenance and facilities are good they come and clean time by time Now talking about activities that goes on uni is a big list there are several students parties here and they are active all time and there are several clubs such as dance club,pucf and sports so you can easily find a people who have same interests like you it's quiet diversified so you meet different people and these clubs help you to find your interests and they are quite welcoming

There are so many hostels in the uni and new hostels are coming up 9 for girls and 13 for boys and they are renovating old hostels also UG 1st years mostly you get old hostels like cauvery ,Saraswati etc but later 1 year they change your hostels in first year I was alloted in cauvery for now 2nd year I am alloted for ganga the facilities are quiet decent and rooms in ganga are quiet spacious compared to cauvery three students will be alloted for each room. If it's come mess food asusual like all other hostel the mess food is very okayish like breakfast is somewhat manageable and lunch is good but dinner is not that good it's like below average for me but there are so many canteens and mess canteen is also there which are good and pocket friendly and recently there is food service called pumato just like Zomato which delivery food only inside uni and for mess in 1st sem I paid 16681/- and 9990/- in 2nd sem for girls there is no hostel fee it's free

I got selected in HOU but I choose PU ,i got attracted to this course and i read brochure it find this is very diversified and you will having so many options after your degree and I got spot admission the admission process and hostel allotment process went very smoothly no problems there and I seats are alloted totally on merit based . If we compare the uni with other i would say academically it's very average particularly social science and humanities like the depts lack faculties and proper furniture and most of times professors will be ready at classes Talking about campus life no doubt there we have one the most beautiful campus in india and the night life of pu is another vibe it's don't disappoint anyone there , so on overall I am ok for choosing pu because it's a amazing diversity and filled with many talented people

As our base subject is french we had a very good faculty for that even tough it was reached by scholars they will teach you twice and very comfortable to talk and even the hod is very good person 1st sem law was teached by Dr Gurminder Kaur which was very but later 2nd sem subbalakshmi mam took over she literally completed the syllabus 2 days before external When it comes to ps 1st sem Dr. Richa Tiwari teached us later 2nd sem she left so the scholars took the classes which are just ok they literally speak what they wrote on theit notebook so i don't say they good as teaching for us The real problem comes with sociology and history literally these depts lack proffesors and proper classes and hod's of these dept are not at all student friendly all time PhD scholars come and teach us even they have no idea what they are about to teach and they are not paid so they are very chilled about taking classes and completing syllabus on time .
