About College of Commerce, Arts & Science
College of Commerce (COC), Patna was established in 1949. It is a constituent unit and Post Graduate Centre of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya (Bihar, India) duly recognized by University Grants Commission, New Delhi under section 12(f) and 12(B). In 1952, the college got affiliated to Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. The mission of the college is catering education to all providing equal opportunity to poor and downtrodden. The vision of the college is to create a class of intellectually, morally or spiritually sound and committed citizens, who will become a human resource of high calibre, to cater the needs of the society and the country.

Extra Curricular Activities
- NCC - The college has a 1 NCC unit of 2/29 BNCC/Pat-Army. More than 200 male cadets and 100 Female cadets are enrolled in it. Many cadets participated in Republic Day parade in last years. 50 cadets participated in pulse polio campaign, cleanliness, flood areas and natural calamities.
- NSS - The college has a 2 NSS units. Tree Plantation, health awareness, Blood donation, Aids awareness, campus cleaning programme, drug abuse and against illiteracy are the main works of the NSS volunteers. More than 200 male and 150 female volunteers render their services.

I already got admissions to another college but I cancelled it and chose this college because of the teaching department they handle their job very truthfully and they help students to achieve thier goals which make to choose this college over another college

I choose this college because i want to stude in out of state so i choosed this college . And tution fees is also under considered so I selected this course Admission process is easy and simple it may take almost 2 hours

other college had high fees structure so, i selected this college over them. This college has affordble fees. The addmission process is very easy. There is no entrance exam, yes there is cutoff and you need to paas 12th examination with good marks.

- In this college, I have felt that the studies here are much better than all other colleges.
- The teaching method here is also very good and the teachers here are experienced, they teach with good understanding

- The worst thing here is that the staff is very rude and does not give prompt reply regarding studies
- There is no merit for admission here until the children do not create ruckus

I liked this college the most because the best studies are done here as compared to other colleges, new things are taught here, seminars are conducted. The admission process of this college is that first you have to register yourself on the Patliputra University website, after that you have to fill in your details and then you can choose the department in which you want to take admission.Yes, you have to fill it, if merit is ready on it. If name comes on merit then document has to be submitted in CLG, if by chance you do not get it then you have to fill onspot admission form and submit it in this CLG If seat is available then you will get admission in this CLG

- Infrastructure of the college is quite good but it can improve more.
- Environment of the college is good everywhere you can see green trees and you get fresh air.
Dislikes
- Faculty members need to change or get some training that how to teach students and make an interactive class.
- Asking extra money all the time to do your work like at the time of examination form they asked me to give 100 rupees , at the time of scholarship 200 rupees challan.
Admission:
For being eligible for this course you have complete graduation with 55% but for taking admission in this college you have to score more because it takes admission on the basis of marks of the graduation. There is reservation system available in the college so you can get that too. Exams being conducted on time and these are very easy so a average student like me can get70-80% marks in each semester by studying 1-2 days before exam. I think they should take admission on the basis of entrance test so everyone get equal rights.

You should choose science stream in 10+2 and get more than 45% in it. The application are available in Patna University site or you can directly contact to college for the addmission. There is reserved for SC/ST, OBC, EWS. Exams are held on semester basis and there are classroom exams too which depends on teacher. Difficulty level is moderate. I think site of Patna University can be more better.

The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree is offered under five different specializations such as Economics, Psychology, Political Science, Geography and Philosophy. Aspiring candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process.
