The duration of the full course is two years, spread over four semesters in total. Admission is granted based on merit. HPU offers an MA program in Journalism and Mass Communication, which includes areas such as print journalism, electronic media, digital media, advertising, public relations, and communication research. The total duration of the course is two years, which spans over four semesters

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla, does offer a B.Sc. Zoology (Honours) program.
