"VGC" A good experience

when I attended, the college used to provide placements in last 4 months of 3rd year. The names of the companies are not publicly available and we were not allowed to share this data but total no of offers made for our batch were between 10-12 5 lakh per annum was highest for our batch. Placements are good , you can be placed at 3.5 Lpa which can vary to 12.5 Lpa in campus placements and these placements drive are carried every year so there's no worry about the placements . Still you need to prepare and work for it

Companies do come to our college for placements. And students become eligible for campus placement after 7 semester . And after completing their degree they are placed to companies . 40% students get placement every year .

Placements are little weak, honestly, but computer science and IT departments. Get really good placements. Even in campus and off campus are records have gone up to 30,00,00 of campuses are way easier than on campus, but companies do come to this university.

Depending on the previous year placement data, the average salary which you can get in HPU Placements is INR 3.02 lacs per year to INR 3.15 lacs per year. The companies which provided these packages were Wipro, Citrix, Cognizant, TCS, Hewlett Packard, M.Phasis.

HPU Shimla does not conduct placements for its MBBS students. However, the MBBS students are provided with a compulsory internship The internship stipend previously offered was INR 17 thousand per month. But now it has been increased to INR 20 thousand per month.
