Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) Result 2024 has been declared for BHMS 1^st  Prof (annual)​ on its official website. Students can check their results by entering their roll number in the online portal. 

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) is a non-profit university that offers programs in the streams of Law, Management, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc. HPU conducts exams in both semester format and annual format for different courses. The End term examination will be of three hours duration. Students need to clear their Continuous Comprehensive Assessment (CCA) and the End Semester Examination (ESE) to get a promotion in the preceding semester.

How to Check HP University Result 2024?

HP University is responsible for announcing the examination result in the month of July or August. Students can access their results online through the university website.  All UG & PG students can check their results for all years as well as semesters. By following below steps candidates can check their HP University results:

1. Visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU).
2. Click on the “Results” link
3. Select the direct link to check UG, PG, the regular and private results for all courses.
4. Select the course from the list of programs.
5. Select the criteria- Name-wise or Roll Number-wise
6. Enter the mandatory details
7. Download the result.

HP University Evaluation Scheme 2024

HP University follows the CBCS template as implemented by UGC for the admission of UG and PG Courses. According to the system, students can choose the courses from the list of prescribed courses containing core, elective and skill-based courses. 

That means a student has to cumulate a minimum number of credit hours and not exceeding that. They can opt for any combination of subjects such that the total credits of the subject are the minimum total credit required to qualify for the Degree. 

The Continuous Comprehensive Assessment (CCA) carries 30% of the total marks and the End Semester Examination (ESE) carries the remaining 70%.  In CCA, there will be one Mid-Term test of 15 marks. 10 marks will be awarded on the basis of Seminar/ Assignment tutorial/Term-paper etc. Remaining 5 marks will be awarded on the basis of classroom Attendance of the students. 

The End term examination will be of three hours duration. In order to pass a subject, a student has to pass both CCA and ESE Separately.

HP University Reassessment Application 2024

Students who have doubts on their released results can apply for the Revaluation/ Rechecking. The forms for the latter purpose are available at the university’s official website. Students can apply for revaluation if he/she feel that their scores have not been evaluated correctly. 

The maximum time period within which the students have to apply is 21 days after the release of results. After 21 days he/she cannot apply for the rechecking/ revaluation nor will the result be published if the submission done is beyond 21 days.

The revaluation result will be published within 60 days of submission of the form. The score after the procedure may increase but shall not decrease in any case. If in case, the answer sheet gets unavailable, the student has to reappear for the same paper during the next session of examination. His/Her rechecking fee will be completely refunded. 

After the reassessment procedure, students cannot apply for another revaluation. The results shall be considered final hereon.  Follow the following steps to know how to fill the reassessment application form:

• Pay the application fee for Revaluation/ rechecking
  • Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree Courses (Per Paper): INR 300/-
  • Re-evaluation of Master’s Level Degree Courses (Per Paper): INR 400/- 
  • Re-checking of Answer Books (UG / PG) (Per Paper): INR 400/- / INR 500/- 
• Enter the following details
  • Name
  • Fathers’ Name
  • Semester and Session Year
  • Examination Roll Number
  • Name of subjects and marks obtained
  • Revaluation fee details
  • Student's address
  • Sample handwriting of the student
  • Signature
• Submit the application form with the application fee payment receipt in an envelope to the Registrar office of the University/Affiliated College.

HP University Supplementary Application 2024

Students can also apply for supplementary examination, if they have failed in any of the subjects while appearing during regular term. The application form release will be intimated at the notification section and students have to download the form from the website. Take a hard copy print and fill the form manually. After filling the application, application fee is to be paid via Challan, DD and attach it with the application form. 

Students should make sure that they need to attach a copy of the marksheet as well.
