Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course for my career. I think exams and timing is a little difficult. Because our timing is just only 180 minutes for 100 marks. Other department courses are getting 150 minutes for 60 marks.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 18500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship facilities given at the starting of the 2nd semester. The tally and gst filing are did in that institution. Actually it was very useful to learn and understanding those accounting and management.

Placement Experience

There is some placement opportunity for m. Com students. The last semester is the time for placement. However according to the mba student's our placement oppertunity is very low. I am planning to do with phd

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees are a little bit high according to other central university. It costs 36500 for 2 year only for semester fee. The hostel and mess fees are 22000 for a year. There is some scholarships like postmetric and e-grand. But the amounts are very low.

Campus Life

There is different programs conducting in university by students. No university festival events.Only the students will conduct. Books are available in different topics and the technological provisions are high useful. But in the case sports activity it is very low. There is no maintanance even to the ground

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms and toilets are very helpful and good condition. But in the case of mess food it's very bad. The iverall food is not in agood condition. I tjink the mess fee and the foods are very unworthy

Hostel Fee: INR 22000 per year

Admission

Admission was nice. It concidered our cuet marks. The qualification for this course was only above 50 percentage in graduation. The application details will get from the cuet website. There is some reservation like obc and sc/st. It will benefit for the fees structure. Cuet exam time is 120 minutes for 100 questions. There is minus mark also. Some time the questions are paragraphical so it will affect the student's timing for apply answers. So if it concider that will be great benefit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Academic curriculum have some shortcomings like the internals are held very late and because of that the end of the semester becomes very hectic. The internship duration is very short it should be at least a month.

The course is very good. In Pondicherry University the Master of Commerce is the best course compared to others. There are lots of talented teachers in our department. My life in Pondicherry University

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is specified in Accounting and Taxation which is not available in most of the universities. But considering the real world application, No in depth practical skills can be achieved.
