- I liked the infrastructure of the college and it is so education friendly The placement opportunities are also very good.
- The labs are well equipped with new to moderately old machines.

- The only thing i dislike here is the short span of semesters like 3-4 months Max.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement from third year onwards. The campus provides internships and PPO pre placement offer to students who are in the pre final year . Some companies visited the campus are Deloitte, iserveu, Cisco, marquee semiconductor, jsw, vedanta, birla, Larsen and toubro limited etc. the percentage of students getting placed is 90% above. The average package here is 6-7 lpa. The highest package previous year was 40 lpa which was offer from Amazon but the student applied for it off campus it wasn't on campus placement. My plans after getting a degree are higher studies.

- Teachers teaching style Nd classroom classmates environment.study material they provide was very good
- Robotics club. I got to learn more from the club about bot and many more technical things
Dislikes
- Library don't have sufficient books.they need to equiped it with more books and also need to improve the sitting
- Less option for placement as it is not situated in the capital of odisha most of the company are not coming here for requitment

I loved coding that's why I choose CSE It has all the advance coding language which help me during campus placement In the curriculum they need to add more practical based knowledge and application of the theory Exam held on each 6 month basis semester system and difficulty level was moderate to high

- The effectiveness of placements are really superb. Especially the placements of the core branches are absolutely good
- There are several clubs in the university which provides a exposure. It conducts several events where students take part actively

- The teaching methods used by the faculties are too traditional and outdated in today's world.
- The infrastructure is quite basic since its one of the oldest technical institutions in the state
Placement Experience:
The placements of the college are really superb. Especially the engagement of the core branches is really good. Lots of companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, Vedanta, Jindal etc visit the campus. The highest package offered was of 47 LPA and average package lies around 6-7 LPA.

- The course structure is somewhat hectic.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course was somewhat hectic. Being the covid baatch the first year was hectic. The improvement could be done in the practical aspects. The exams were scheduled in every three months for mid term and 6 months for semester.

- Location of college : located on bank of Mahanadi river and near to the mountain
- Good quality of Infrastructure like lab, library, sporting facility , senior support

- Lack of good quality of connectivity to my college
- Need to improve alumnae with student for good placement
Course Curriculum Overview:
Very comprehensive course and include latest syllabus but there is always score for introduction of latest subject like AI,ML, Bigdata etc and introduction of industrial relevant skills like continueous industrial tours of students

- 1st it is about the clubs in our college which is superb as I am learning many new things.
- 2nd is about college fest which is everyones favourite.Many fest were conducted but the biggest is samavash and vassaunt
Dislikes
- Sometimes hostel food is annoying for me which is heptic for me .
- Sometimes bulbs in bathroom are being stealed .
Placement Experience:
Campus placement are better than other colleges in odisha. You will receive of average 5lpa if you work hard with no excuses.Many seniors will help for placement. Note that for placement you have to get minimum 8.0 CGPA with no backs in any subject then you will be eligible for placement from third semester. Since my branch is chemical so our highest placement is 15lpa previous year so it is great package in starting phase . Many companies visit in our college like JSW,Pradhan,TATA Steel...and many more companies visit. Keep studing,work hard , enjoy your life .

- I didn't like the hostel and it's mess because the food quality is not good

Placements vary alot according to the global issues . If there are no global issues, GDP is in up then placements are good. There are companies like Amazon (sometimes) , Infosys, Wipro , tech Mahindra, JSW , vedanta that visit this college for campus placement. 80-85% of students get placement My plan is to get a good money offering job

Placements are decent in the college. Major part of the companies visiting the college is core companies. They offer decent packages and the IT companies also provide quite decent packages. Other than that, the course encourages us to build projects that are quite helpful in getting core placements.

- I like extracurricular activities provided by college to participate in sports and various clubs
- Here the faculty members, staffs as well as senior are friendly and supportive.
Dislikes
- The criteria of 75% attendance is the thing I dislike.
- Hostel in time is 6 pm which is not good for overall growth of student.

Placements are quite nice and it is improving year by year.You can expect getting ppo from 3rd year only if you are very good academics and skill.More than 80 companies visited in our campus like jsw,tata ,aditya birla,amazon etc.More than 75 percents students get placed with an average of 700000 per annum.

- The inappropriate use of funds and not provision of quality food.

What is your review of VSSUT Burla for EE?
Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
