Course Curriculum Overview

4

By conducting several laboratory sessions where they teach about real life use cases and applications which is a very good approach. Each Semester 2 exams are conducted i.e Mid Semester Exam and the difficulty level is in between easy to moderate and is very scoring. The End Semester exam's difficult level is in between moderate to difficult.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Students get internship opportunities after completion of their 3rd/4th Semester. Some companies that offer internships are NALCO, Jindal.Co, Hindal.Co, etc. These internships are very beneficial in the long run since they provide a good opportunity to understand the mechanism of our surroundings.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements of the college are really superb. Especially the engagement of the core branches is really good. Lots of companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, Vedanta, Jindal etc visit the campus. The highest package offered was of 47 LPA and average package lies around 6-7 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no hikes in tuition fee or we can say there no such tuition fee increase policy as such. The complete cost of BTech regular course would somewhere around 1.5L-1.8L. There are lots of Scholarship opportunities for the students of the university which is a very good financial aid for the students who face difficulty in paying the entire amount.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual techno-cultural fest of our university is known as "SAMAVESH X VASSAUNT". It is typically a 3-day fest where several events are conducted by different clubs and societies of the university. There is a Central Library in the college that offers a variety of books and is accessible to all.

Hostel Facilities

3

There are a total of 12 hostels out of which there are 6 girls hostels and 6 boys hostels. Rooms are equipped with a rack/cupboard, table, chair and bed. The meal quality sometimes can be good and sometimes it can downgrade as well. The menu changes according to the season and availability of vegetables in that season.

Admission

Students who are willing to take admission in the university need to appear for the JEE examination and then apply for OJEE counselling. The cut-off for branches like CSE, IT and ETC can be quite high but if you have reservations they it may increase your chances little bit. There are reservation benefits for categories like EWS, SC and ST. There are other categories like Outlying Odia(OL), State Government School(SGS), Green Card(GC).

Faculty

3

The faculties in the university have their own way of teaching and each one of them is very well qualified from renowned institutions of India. They use traditional methods of teaching which sometimes results in less effectiveness.
