- The classroom study is on the top level . And the labs are well organised.
- In our college the technical society and sports society are pretty much active and conquer good height in national level.

- I disliked a small thing about our campus it should have many more infrastructures .
- The hostel mess was not that good in some of the residence.

Course Curriculum Overview
I liked the topic mechanics and bit of good in these practical field that's why. The curriculum inspired me to gain knowledge and applied to the real world. I'm also in a vehicle construction club so my theories helped me a lot
Internships Opportunities
For internships vssut having tie up with nalco ,hindalco , jsw , HAL etc students are recommended by college faculties . In internship we study and learn new industrial equipments and how they works in practical field.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem all students are eligible to the placement but having no active backlog. Maruti suzuki ,jsw,tata powers ,TES,LnT, adani enterprises,etc Highest avarage packed is given by maruti suzuki of 10 to 11 lakhs and average is 8 lakhs About 91 percent student are placed. My plans after getting degree is to get a good placement
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees I paid is 89000 from which I gave 10000 through ojee counseling and 79000 to college. From 79000 the hostel charges are 48000 and the academic charges is 31000. Development fees is about 5000 one time charge and lab charges is 4800 and library charges are about 2000 and internet connection charges are 2000 one time investment. Scholarships are many but I have applied for post matric scholarship and got 20000 in 1st year.
Campus Life
I'm pretty much pleased about my campus life there is total 3 offical annual festivals the tech fest samavesh the cultural fest vassuant and the sports fest illumina . It's all fun to attend all these.library is very big all the required materials are available. Classrooms having digital screen all well as typical boards so simulation of concept are easy to understand.
Hostel Facilities
In room we have free wifi provided by college we just have to install the wifi router. In junior hostel the mess meal quality and menu is not that good but in senior hostel they are tasty in comparison to a normal hostel. For hostel registation we have to pay the hostel fees in vssut offical website the book room for us.
Admission
This college is the oldest among all colleges in odisha and we'll established also . having good campus and placement. My relatives are the aluminis of this college and they are in a very good position right now .
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is more than enough easily there are one faculty to 40 students in class and 2 faculty to 20 students in lab. I liked most Dr. Tapas priyadarshi sir he is very generous and interactive and purna Priya mishra maam . She's very kind hearted. There are 6 theory papers and 4 lab exams among which basic thermodynamics in 3rd sem was bit much hard.
Interview Experience
Yes we didi GD in our English lab and interview was taken by our ma'am time to time so that students donot have to suffer. Process of admission is through ojee counseling as this is under odisha state government.and the criteria for this college is by qualification of jee exam or ojee exam ... According to your ranks branchs will be provided.
Night Life
The campus gym is well-equipped but usually closes by 8:00 PM. The main canteens generally operate until 9:00 PM, offering affordable snacks and beverages. Late-night cravings can often be satisfied at smaller tea stalls near the hostels. The library closes at 8:00 PM, but during exam season, it extends till 10:00 PM, allowing students to prepare for their exams Boys’ hostel: Entry is relatively lenient but ideally before 11:00 PM
