ENGINEERING LIFE IN VSSUT

We have two cycles in 1st year i.e chemistry cycle and Physics cycle.The curriculum is developed to meet local,national, regional and global development needs.The end semester covers all modules I choosed this college as it's curriculum includes courses like electrical, electronics, computer hardware and computer languages

The average package in our college VSSUT BURLA is around 700000 which is good compared to its course fee. From 7th semester onwards a student is eligible for campus placement. Companies like Deloitte, Wipro,Tata Steel, Aditya Birla visit for placement. Highest package is around 4400000 and lowest is around 200000

The tuition fees structure for odd semester and regular day scholars tfw is 11750 and ntfw is 17750.Self financing day scholars it is 41750 and tfw is 19250.For even semester regular day scholars it is 11900 for ntfw and 5900 for tfw for self financing it is 32500 for ntfw and 10000 for tfw.The fees are not increasing it has been same for the last 3-4

The annual and technical festivals include AIEEE,BASANT,ALUMINA and many more.My overall experience is good.One can avail books for 14 days from library and large variety of books are available. Clubs Include LITSOC, SOULS,QUIZZINE etc

The first year student live in the hostel name is PULAHA HALL OF RESIDENCE. In a room there are three students.The mess facilities are good . Food is okayish and there is a general store in ground floor from where one can purchase any thing

I choosed VSSUT BURLA as it has a strong reputation for quality engineering education in odisha,it is one of the oldest engineering college and it has a dedicated focus on research and development. It's affordable fees structure made me choose this college

The faculties of our college are experienced.We give 2 exams in each semester excluding viva and practical exams.The two exams are mid semester and end semester. Faculty to student ratio is 1:20.And the mid sem is of 30 marks and end sem is of 50 marks

In first semester a student is not allowed outside after 6pm for security purposes and one can go to the nearby POOL CLUB gym. The hang out places are DYKE, ZERO POINT, MCL, HIRAKUD DAM and many more.
