Likes
- The faculties are nice and good, teaching is good and doubts are solved be available to ask a lots of qs
- Smart classroom and libraries are there with computer and stuff so you can easily access internet and study there
- The surrounding near the college has all the things that are required from bookshops to food.
Dislikes
- During my tie of joining there were no fests or function so the social interaction was basically zero but the junior batches are conducting a lot of programs which is nice to see
- The washroom and water supply!! Never together..it was a struggle
- Information about the college should be more available and accessible t the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for 4 years is around 16-17 lakhs. Yearly it takes around 2.5 lakhs.Scholarshop is available but only for some specific students which comes under college criteria. Student loan is also available.Compared to last year the college fees for four years has increased to 18 lakhs.
Campus Life
No fests and fuctins were conducted the dean told us this campus focused more on studies!! It was hella sad, for boys a lot of sports like cricket and stuff where there but nothing for girls..The hostel where stingy for no real reason.But now there are indoor sports like badminton,foosball and the ratio is somehow balanced for fuctions it still conducted at campus 2 and some orientation are happening now..But still no freshers celebration. Clubs are there now but at my time they were not that active. I was in a literature club and we sometimes publishes things online.
Admission
This college has more faculty more than anyother colleges for cs department so went in here. The placement was good and was recommended by a lot of people as the NIRF rankingwas good. The admission can take place through jee marks or SAT marks coducted by the college if you score good you can get in your chosen branch
Faculty
Faculty number is good and it depends on the faculty whether he or she is friendly or not but mostly all faculties are approcable. Total 8th sem and exams like quiz,midsems and endsems are conducted.The marking scheme is half the marks taken from midsems and other from the endsems which is of 60 marks. The exams date where not annouced before at was provided just one or two days ago which was troublesome..The exam management can be soo much better
Night Life
The nightouts are fun for the boys. Girls staying at hostel where not allowed to go out even for food there were many restrictions and strict policies that was somehow not applied at boys hostel. Even for library you have to get it signed and theres a process to stay late that is 8:30 at library. There is cafeteria inside the food is affordable and good. But if you are somehow who wants safety then this place is safe. The gates are protected aroud hostels and we have guards
