Dislikes
- The campus is located in a village area where you need to walk around 2-3 km to get some good food.
- The campus is very small which just have college building and nothing else not even a playground.
- You will always get suprise notice of exams, reopening of college and everything. The management is not good everything here is delayed and not seen seriously.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to pursue ballb as I love law as well as BA subjects like history, political science, sociology etc. The curriculum here is quite relevant like you get a basic knowledge of the law which you can apply in the outside world. The improvement can be done like more law subjects can be taught in the 1st and 2nd year of the college. we have our mid sem after 2-3 months of starting of the semester and Semester after 1-2 months of completion of mid-sem. The difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Our college usually provide internship for 3rd year to 5th year students. And the internship are provided on merit basis only. The position is like a law intern only under the company. Like they provided internship under vigilance academy for 3rd to 5th year students.
Placement Experience
From 8th semester students become eligible for placement. Quickflex and some other companies visited our university and around 15-20 offers are made. The highest placement is 500000rs per year and the average package is around 350000 per year. 20-25% students get placed. My 1st plan is to get placed somewhere and then start my preparation for judiciary.
Fees and Financial Aid
Basically our tuition fees is 150000 and caution fees is 10000. There is no other such fees to be paid. In the 1st year we pay 160000 fees and from 2nd year it is 150000. If you Opt for hostel its fees is divided into 3 types 1st 50000 for 4beded Non AC room 2nd 90000 for 3 beded AC room and 3rd 120000 for 2 beded AC room. Our mess fees is 40000 per year. There is no concession for sc/st people everyone pay the same fees. There is scholarship provided on the merit basis where around 20000rs is being reduced from the tuition fees.
Campus Life
JUSTICIA is the annual festival which is conducted in our college it is held once in a year. The books range is good here many books are available if different authors. The faculties behave very professionally inside the classroom we too have a projector in every class and each class also have 2 AC. There is no such scope for sports you are left by your own to pursue it. Soa conduct a sports event every year which is good. 2-3 students have their youtube channel where they post vlogs about college life and all. The club here are just govern by partiality if you have a good relationship with the lead teacher there and students of the club you will get a place there otherwise there is no scope for you. The infrastructure is good but they don't even have there own auditorium hall we need to go to the auditorium of agriculture. The campus is spacious although like you can get a good evening walk.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel have free wifi, 2 lifts, 4 floors and it is divided in 2 section in one section there is 7rooms in one section, and there is also activity area which is converted to hostel rooms. It has washing machines where you can pay and wash your clothes. The food quality is average. But the menu is good and favourable to non vegetarian. Like it give non veg 4 days a week. For vegetarian there is option like paneer, mushroom, besan tarkari and chuii aloo sabji. You need to register for hostel during the time of admission only where you need to pay the hostel and mess fees of a year.
Admission
I had applied to symbiosis law college, Lloyd law college, Kiit law college. I got confirmed admission from symbiosis law college Noida and Hyderabad I got confirmed from lloyd and kiit as well. I think the most important factor of mine choosing this college is its fees which is quite affordable and the environment here which is quite friendly and non toxic. I just could not clear my CLAT examination. I never got rejection from the college I applied. For admission one need to 1st give CLAT or Soa conduct its own examination called SAAT you need to clear SAAT then you will get offer letter then you need to come to the college on the day given to you for admission and make the admission with the fees provided in the mail only and the methods of making payment. After payment you will get the admission and you can start your life here.
Faculty
The faculty to student ration may be for 1 faculty 150 student. Relationship between faculty and students are really good. If you have any doubts or queries you just need to faculties cabin and you will get your doubt solved. The faculty I like is Maithili chaudhary, Meerambika Pattnaik, Madhusudhan sir, S.A.K Azad sir, Om sir I like them because they are best in their field and they can make you understand complex topic in simple manner. Faculties i don't like may be Anurag sir as I find him not that professional and gets angry in small things. Our exam structure is every year we have 2 semesters exam and before each semester exam we have a mid-sem examination. The question level is moderate. And the course is quite relevant same as that of NLUs and around 10% people fail in the examination. If you get 35 marks in you semester all included then you pass.
Night Life
Cafeteria and library and parking area are some of the place where people hangout after the classes. We don't have any gym area. The library closes at 5pm and cafeteria at 9pm. Hostel timing for girls is 6pm and for boys is 9pm. After that no one can even roam in the campus. We don't get access in the night. For boys the garden is the best and safe place to roam.
