Comprehensive review of VSSSUT ,Burla academics, campus, life, placements, and overall experience

Course curriculum, SSUT is well structured and covers both core and advanced topics relevant to the engineering field. It follows BPUT guidelines and updated periodically to meet industry requirements. Subjects are balance between theory and practical learning through lab sessions projects and internships foundation for higher studies and competitive exams like eight, however, a few subjects could include more real-world application learning to match current industry. Trends are conducted twice a semester to internals and final with a moderate difficulty level. Continuous assessment through assignments and attendance help maintain consistency over the curriculum is comprehensive, relevant and prepare student students for both technical jobs and research oriented careers.

VSSUT provide decent opportunities through training placement alumni student, Steel OPTCLIOCL Infosys in various industries roles, mainly include training, engineer, project and research, depending on the Branch. Some internships also come with a stipend ranging from 5000 to 15,000 per month, apart from on campus drives, students are encouraged to apply through portal like Internshala and LinkedIn. The university also supports summer internship after the sixth semester or students work on industrial or research based projects. For example, mechanical students often work on manufacturing or design projects while CSE students, software development or data analysis roles. These internships help students gain, hands-on experience and practical knowledge that align with their coursework. Overall internship support is improving every year with more industry, connections and guidance from the place.

Placements at VSSUT Burla are quite good for CSE IT electrical and mechanical students become eligible for placements from the seventh semester top companies such as Infosys TCS, Wipro, Accenture Tech Mahindra industries visit campus every year. The average package ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package offered up to 12 to 15, LPA, depending on the Branch company around 70-80% of eligible student from CSE NI 60% active conduct training session. To improve students, students also prepare for higher studies, government exams along with placement after completing my degree. I plan to either work in a reputed company or pursue higher studies to enhance my technical skills and career growth.

I am a student in vssut,burla.the fees structure of the university is quite affordable compared to many other engineering colleges in odisha.the fees varies slightly depending on the catagory (regular or self financing ) and whether the student is hostel resident or day scholar. For regular boarder,the semester fees is around 17000-18000,while regular day scholars,it's about 11000-12000 per semester.for self financing students the fees is higher around 38000 for boarders and 32000 for day scholar per semester .A one time refundable caution deposit is around 2000-3000 is also paid during the admission . The hostel and mess fees is around 45000 per year ,covering accommodation,food and basic maintenance.on average regular hostel student spend around 80000-90000 per year.the cost for completing 4 year btech is around 3-3.5 lakh for regular student and around 6-6.5 lakh for self financing student Various scholarships like medhabruti,prerana,merit cum means and other nation scholarships portal are available for students based on merit

Campus life at vssut burla is Vibrant and the college host several annual events like cultural summit, which brings students from all branches together. There are many active clubs such as robotics, coding, drama, photography, and literary societies that help students explore their interest beyond academics, the library as well stock with books, journals, and digital resources. Classrooms are spacious and labs are well equipped for practical learning sports facilities for cricket football, badminton athletics are available and regular interdepartment tournaments are conducted. The campus environment is friendly and full of opportunities for teamwork and creativity. ????(hostel) life is fun with cultural events, discussions and late night bonding sessions overall, the campus offer of balance of academics, activities and social life making truly memorable for every student

University of technology, VSSUT Burla because it is one of the top government engineering colleges in Odisha with a strong academic reputation and affordable fee structure. I also applied to other colleges like silicon Institute of technology technology, but I preferred SSUT for its better placement record, experience, faculty and alumni network. The environment here is more research and project oriented which helps in overall technical growth, admission process is through OJE counselling based on JEE Mains cut-off varies every year, depending on the category branch with (CSE) electrical. Being the most competitive the entire process is transparent and conducted online didn't face any issue during admission as the document verification. Overall I chose VSSUT for its reputation, quality education, and value for money compared to private colleges.

Faculty at vssut is well-qualified and approachable. Most pros focus on conceptual and practical learning follows PU guidelines with two interns and one semester exam. Difficulty level is moderate Sibu industry relevant student guidance, higher studies, faculties are supportive during projects and internships. Regualer lab sessions and assignments helps in understanding concepts better,though some departments still need modernisation

The nightlife around VSSUT ,burla is peaceful and safe student spend evenings nearby cafes stall near Gate quite active at night with discussion late night session. (Hostel) usually close around around 9:30 PM for safety reasons, but within the campus students often enjoy walks or chill near the auditorium or canteen area, the campus gym and library close by 8 PM. But hostels remain late outside the campus. Popular hangout spots include Dam view point and small eatery in Burla town, which are safe even after dark, though not a party centric area, the peaceful environment, close student community, make evenings, enjoyable, and relaxing overall the night life is simple, but fun, perfect for bonding and after a college day.
