Placement Experience:

Placements at VSSUT Burla are quite good for CSE IT electrical and mechanical students become eligible for placements from the seventh semester top companies such as Infosys TCS, Wipro, Accenture Tech Mahindra industries visit campus every year. The average package ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package offered up to 12 to 15, LPA, depending on the Branch company around 70-80% of eligible student from CSE NI 60% active conduct training session. To improve students, students also prepare for higher studies, government exams along with placement after completing my degree. I plan to either work in a reputed company or pursue higher studies to enhance my technical skills and career growth.

There is a dedicated placement cell who is concerned for providing internship and training guidance to students

Placement Experience:

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

CET Bhubaneswar has recently released the placement details according to which a total of 649 job offers were made to 474 students. The highest package offered to graduates stood at INR 44.80 LPA whereas the average package stood at INR 5.85 LPA. The lowest package offered was INR 3 LPA. The Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering students bagged the highest number of offers during CET BBSR placements 2023.

VSSUT Burla has not released this year's placement statistics yet so I will be mentioning last year’s for reference. During the placement drive, 773 students received 750 job offers. The company that offered the maximum job offers was GenC followed by Wipro (75) and Infosys (60). Get a good understanding of the basic CSE subjects like OS, Network, Algo, DS, Automata, etc
Become proficient in programming and actively participate in competitive programming.
Read books on science and technology and broaden your perspectives.
Inculcate good communication skills. Improve your English vocabulary and be fluent while speaking and writing.
Develop Interpersonal skills by socializing well with your peers.
