- The campus of Vssut is quite greenish. I love to take a seat under the tree.
- The E Learning centre is quite huge. It has a large projector having seats in a sloping manner.
- The college canteen is quite cheap and affordable. It has around 70 rupees for veg meal. And around 90 for non veg(chicken) meal.
Dislikes
- The Vssut culture of wearing formals is the annoying part during summer.
- Some of the lectures are not as good as we think.
- The fest of Vssut also known as Vassaunt is not as good as it was at it old times.

- Placement cell is very good and active as well

- Ragging is happening in the college campus
- The class shedule is hectic for first year students

- There good faculties with proper teaching experience
- There is a dedicated placement cell who is concerned for providing internship and training guidance to students

- For computer branches the syllabus is little outdated and the labs are also very poor.
- Classroom are also very old even though there are better classrooms. Still old rooms are being used
- For core branches this can be the best college to go for in odisha but for tech branches cse it you its better to go for outr Bhubaneswar

- Rude behaviour of seniour is disturbing in college.

- Faculties are friendly and have degrees like MTech and PhD from top IITs and NITs.
- Placement cell provides various links for internship opportunities. The placements are also quite good and impressive
- Equipments in labs are functioning and well maintained. New buildings are also being made.
Dislikes
- The ground conditions are not good and sometimes water doesn't come in washrooms
- The lifts in hostel are not functioning and doesn't have that much space for sports.
- Boys to girls ratio is 3:1 in each branch

- The teaching method of teachers are good.Especially they take some extra classes for more improvement of student.
