Course Description
Student those who are selected through JEE/OJEE/Univ. entrance examination for taking admission into various courses of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla are required to register online through the link available in the official website of VSSUT
- Visit the website of the Institute, http://www.vssut.ac.in/
- Register yourself through phone number and email id.
- After successfully online registration, students will be facilitated to download/print his/her online application.
- An auto generated application code will be generated for further references.
- The interested candidates may download the application form available in the University Website and submit a hard copy of the signed completed application alongwith non-refundable demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in favour of,
VSSUT, Burla payable at SBI, Burla (Code - 2034) or Syndicate Bank (Code - 8062) and send the same by Speed Post only so as to reach the Dean, PGS & R, VSSUT, Burla before the last date of submission
- The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as “Application for Programme” along with the name of the Department (Specialization) as applicable.
Course Details
Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) offers a Bachelor’s degree in Technology under 11 different specialization subjects with a duration of 4 years. The university also offers 5 years Integrated B.Tech+M.Tech course under two different specializations.
Admission to B.Tech. courses of the University are based on the merit in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Govt. of Odisha. The application process for Odisha JEE starts in the month of March every year. Candidates can apply online application for Odisha JEE.

- The location and the environment where the college campus is situated is quite good the location is perfect for a student point of view
- Its a scenic Place where the college is situated the almighty Hirakud dam which controls the flow of mahanadi is on the back of the campus exactly 4kms distance is there
Dislikes
- Boys Hostel food need some Upgradation and the Semester Duration are too less for a exam scenario
- The campus is not totally Closed campus it's need to be closed campus
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuition fee is a important factor in the university as comapairing to rhe private colleges their annual fees is same as our total graduation (4years) fees For even semesters the fee is around 10000 and for odd sem it's around 17000

- Things I like are it's campus size and greenary.
- The nature of guards are also good and they behave well.
Dislikes
- I don't like it's surrounding people and outside view.
- The locals some time mocks on the students.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tuition is increased little bit this year and the whole information about the fees structure you will get in vssut official website and other options will also be present there. There are post-matric scholarship which gives about 20000 rs as scholarship to every year till 4th year if you are eligible for it.

- Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
- VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Dislikes
- The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
- The drainage system is not maintained well.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The complete cost of education is around 300000 There are several scholarship like kalia scholarship,post matric ,MMC and many other scholarships which you sing in state scholarship portal. Campus employment are also there whcih you can find after coming here.

- I like the campus very much there is a lot of greenery

- There is a little ragging culture in our college
- Seniors are a bit strict and not friendly
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fee structure is around 48000 a year in first year you have pay for the whole year and from second year you have to pay semester wise. In each sem you would approx 25000 rupees. I think it is quite good

- Low course fee, technical clubs ,festival
- Cultural fest and technical fest, faculty
Dislikes
- Closed should be there ,mess food , campus
- Infrastructure , some seniors , no wifi free campus

Tuition fee increase in every two years specify the regularity and rate of such hikes is 5000 to 10000. No scholarship availed till now.the complete cost is low and high return percentage. examination fee is included in course fee

- Placements are decent when compared to National Level Institutes. Placements comes around 7th Semester

- Hostel maintenance and food quality improvement needed.
- Vssut is open campus so there are many incidents happening like accident etc

There are many scholarships in government.post matric,Kalia scholarship, labour card scholarship and vssut also gives scholarship to best students academic year. There is 48000 hostel fees and your college fees depends upon your course which is ssc or regular, ssc-tfw or regular -tfw.

- Sanskriti college is known for its western style infrastructure which is fully furnished also looks attractive.
- specially because of many supportive teachers and mentor who guide students to crake the placement interviews.
Dislikes
- Boring professors, large classes, stressful exams, and assignments that are pointless
- Being away from home for the first time, having to take care of oneself, and dealing with schooling and a job at the same time
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tution fees are 41040 (general) and for ssc, it is 81000 (approx). The full cost of college with hostel accommodation and after applying for scholarship benefits it is coming to be 300000(approx). Postmatric scholarship, Kalia scholarship,medhabruti, etc.

- Ragging, seniors, mess menu and practical
- Lab equipments, too many classes, homework

The tution fee increase in every 2 or 3 years by 5000. The complete cost of education is 89040. The state schlorship are available for students acording to eligibility criteria.The campus have severals clubs which gives us practical knowledge

- Nothing much dislikes about vssut. But i would say that there is a development in campus and placement also
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is simple. The students who were admitted in general used to pay 41000 per year and the students who got self-sustaining courses had to pay double course fees. and the students who got tuition fees were welfare. There are available scholarships for studenta. for applying a scholarship is very simple. Campus placements are available in this university.

- The strong and helpful alumni network that the university has to offer is the best one.
- The highly active Clubs that have joint ventures with giants like ISRO etc.
Dislikes
- The fact that the University sgill has an open campus being a premier institute.
- The weather conditions are inclined more towards the extreme side.

VSSUT being a GFTI ( Govt. Sponsored Technical Institute) follows the Government implied fee structure to provide quality education at an affordable price. Fees for the four-year B.Tech Programme vary between 1 to 2 lakhs. Furthermore, merit scholarships are awarded based on performance in semesters, and other scholarships based on socioeconomic backgrounds are provided.
