Comprehensive review of VSSSUT ,Burla academics, campus, life, placements, and overall experience

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am a student in vssut,burla.the fees structure of the university is quite affordable compared to many other engineering colleges in odisha.the fees varies slightly depending on the catagory (regular or self financing ) and whether the student is hostel resident or day scholar. For regular boarder,the semester fees is around 17000-18000,while regular day scholars,it's about 11000-12000 per semester.for self financing students the fees is higher around 38000 for boarders and 32000 for day scholar per semester .A one time refundable caution deposit is around 2000-3000 is also paid during the admission . The hostel and mess fees is around 45000 per year ,covering accommodation,food and basic maintenance.on average regular hostel student spend around 80000-90000 per year.the cost for completing 4 year btech is around 3-3.5 lakh for regular student and around 6-6.5 lakh for self financing student Various scholarships like medhabruti,prerana,merit cum means and other nation scholarships portal are available for students based on merit

Tution fee :- 30000 Hostel & mess/ canteen fee :- 48000 Other fees :- 2000 Total :- 80000, per year ( 2 semesters ) For Self financing cources overall fees will be around 110000 per year ( 2 semesters) .

Buckle up Journey in Vssut

The fees structure for the first year program is divided into two parts for my branch(EEE). One is Regular and another is Self Sustaining. Regular fees is 38,825. But Self Sustaining is quite higher 61,125. This division of fees is purely based on the availability of seats on each section. The tuition fees is 44,100 per semester (SSC).

during the first year i have paid 89000/- as fees for my college it's include college nad hostel fees.i am non tfw student so i hav not discount on my fees. if some one is getting admission with tfw then he will get 20% discount.the fees is same for all student it's not differ in category wise.

The fees are of two types one for regular courses and other is self sustaining course there are also tuition fee waiver scheme for both categories The total fees for regular courses per semester is 21000 and mess fee of 17000 total 38000 The total fees for self sustaining course is 44000 and mess fee of 17000 total 61000 per semester for tution fee waiver scheme of regular courses 6000 is waived and total fee including mess will be 32000 and for ssc tfw the total fees will be 36000 There is not any scholarship provided by institute. But there are various state and national scholarship available for applying.

i am in first year. I payed 31000 for course and 48000 for hostel. college is good for studies. faculty are very good. But here campus is very small. campus facilities are not soo good. here hostel is avaliable for all the students. hostel facilites is not good.hostel wardens are very strict.
