- The labs here are highly furnished with maximum facilities provided.

- The lab assistants of some of the departments are in a hurry and doesn't co-operate with students.
- There are no proper place for refreshments like amusement park , movie theatre or any parks nearby .
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for campus placements in the 5th semester of college. The companies that visit the campus are Tata Steel,Hindalco,Maruti Suzuki,TCS,Infosys,L and T,etc.Fifty percent of the students get placed.

- Vssut have very good clubs and the placements are good.
- The college curriculum and the annual fest are also good.

- The food is decent but it can be improved.
- Sometimes some seniors are not good. It's not ragging but tere behaviour is not good.
Placement Experience:
The placement is generally started from final year of college. There are many renowned company company come for placement like Tata and many more. They provide a average package of 15 lakhs and highest package is like 40 lakhs. My plan is to get good placement in a good company

I want to choose this aspect because i was keen interested to take this.i want to make the most beautiful building and roads for future.in my college i would refer chemistry department should improve more.

- Top government engineering after IIT bbsr and NIT rourkela in odisha
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester, placement process start as you enter in final years of your btech degree with good placement offers. There is stress to get placement and go for jobs with good package. Highest package is 4800000 per annum in branch of electronic and telecommunication.

- The infrastructure is well and good and lab is also good.

- In the hostel the food quality is very bad.
- Not seperate building for department.some departmental building is present.
Placement Experience:
Yes, we have a Placement Cell in our college. Students are placed majorly in the course of B.Tech for EEE, EE, & ETC (actual the best placements in OJEE level counselling) and 2nd highest package in CSE & IT. Hostel Rating The only government engineering institute which possess hostels controlled by government (OJEE level institutes) especially for girl students. The mess facilities are amazing but for boys mess food is not so good but edible unlike other government or private college's hostels.

- The clubs which give us exposure, and also help us to nurture our talents and hobbies in a very productive way
- The beauty of the campus, which makes the campus life bearable, after a hectic day
Dislikes
- The mess food, which is quite manageable but compared to other colleges it is quite bad
- Very strict marking system only for core branches, whereas other non core branches usually get mote marks rewarded to them
Course Curriculum Overview:
It's aligned with that of the curriculum of GATE examination, which makes the preparation easier. Regarding the practical labs, they are really interesting, because they not only help us to understand the theory in a better way, but also let's us know that how the real world problems can be dealt with the theoretical knowledge we gained.

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like Deloitte,accenture,capegemini,mind tree and many more. highest package may be 8-9 lpa and average package 5-6 lpa offered by companies. 90% students are placed every year in campus placement.

- College is very big with a lush green campus.
- There are many clubs for the enhancement of skills .
Dislikes
- Distance between the hostel and the campus.
- Restrictions are many for the first year student.

Placement of the college is quite good.It also offer very high percentage of placement in mechanical and electrical branch.More than 80 companies comes for the recruitment of students.Highest package offered in this college is around 48 lakhs per annum and average is around 6 Lakhs per annum.

- Things I like are it's campus size and greenary.
- The nature of guards are also good and they behave well.

- I don't like it's surrounding people and outside view.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The campus size and since it is a government college so I opt for this college to take admission. Thia curriculum prepares me to take challenges of real world and make me ready to face outside world. There will be 2 semester in one year.

- Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
- VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Dislikes
- The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
- The drainage system is not maintained well.
Placement Experience:
Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

What is your review of VSSUT Burla for EE?
Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
