Some subjects are needed to be Imrpovised. Some circuits are needed to be removed from syllabus. But overall it's a very informative experience. I choose this course because i wanted to go for core subjects. This branch have very vast applications in daily life which made me intrested about this branch. Later i opted this branch during ojee Counselling. Exams are difficult. You can pass in every subject but to get a good grade, it require some force.

Internship and training options were available. Your wish whether you want to do it in summer or winter. We were second year students so we are not exposes to this particular field yet. Many of my batchmates are going to CTTC and DOORDARSHAN for internship and training purposes. The stripend they will be getting may range upto 15000 according to their performances.

The placement cell is newly made and well maintained from inside to outside. But unfortunately, for the ETC branch, it's terrible for the last year. Coding companies came in bulk, but there is a very rare sign of core companies. Almost 70 percent of students from the ETC branch were placed. Average didn't touched exactly 4lpa this year. In total around 72 percent students get placed and most of them obviously coding based companies. If you want to get high package then improve your skills on your own and try to get placement off campus.

In first year you have to pay the two semester fees once. After that your payment will be done as per semester. First year fees was 79500 in 2023 along with seat confirmation fee 10000 . Also you have to pay 500 per semester to your department for department development. From second year Onwards the tution fee is 17500 per semester and hostel fee is 24000 per semester. This hostel fee includes the mess charges, electricity charges, water charges as well as hostel development charges. There is a tution fee wavier category for students where limited students were allowed. They will select the names according to their criteria. Many scholarship options are available like post matric, jsw udaan, e medhabruti etc. The scholarship amount may vary according to your acadamics and finalcial conditions.

There will be a branch fest named Techtronics, a cultural fest named Vassaunt, and a technical fest named Samavesh. Technical events were organized by technical clubs on a regular basis. They try to bring the best visitor possible. We may say vssut lacks in sports sector. There is a sports fest every year named illumina. You can participate in the game where you think you can compete. Clubs are mostly run by students. All the activities were actively conducted and we enjoy being affiliated with clubs. Clubs and society culture is just too good here.

The hostel is well maintained. Wi-Fi is available. You will be given everything required for a student to study. If you compare the hostel facilities with hostel food, then it's decent. Hostels have their own grounds, and you can play there. There are common toilets on every floor. The environment is good for study.

I was a dropper. I failed to get a good and safe score in jee mains as well as advanced. I wanted to learn electrical but my percentile didn't allowed me to other better options. This college have a great legacy, once it was a fiery competotior to NIT rourkela and IIT bhubaneswar. Unfortunately this management didn't continued with the flow and vssut is nowhere worthy of competition now. Jee main is the exam you have to crack to get into this college. Your school, intermediate certificates will be checked during admission process. You will have to pay 10000 as seat confirmation fee. To be honest, the admission process in this college is Smoothest one.

Teachers are well-qualified and good at teaching. Some portions are outdated, but at least you will learn something. The exam patterns are divided into three portions: Mid semester, End semester, and internal exams. You have to score well in all three to get an outstanding grade. Some teachers are totally dependent on ppts which is absurd. How can a student properly learn circuital subject if his teachers teaching the circuit from power points. Faculties may lack this sense of teaching but they are good human beings. They will help you whenever you need them.

Hostel gate is attached to a market called as kirba market. Almost 10 restaurants were available around this campus. Everything you meed wi be around 1 kilometer radius of the campus. Hostel timings for girls is fixed to 6pm . First yeat boys also have timing upto 6 . From second year onwards the hostel in time for boys is 7 30 pm. Famous hangout places around hostel is MCL, kirba chowk, hirakud, left and right dyke etc. Gym is available around campus. They are private gyms. Library System is excellent. This library is state's biggest library.
