The college campus in VSSUT takes place during the 6th semester and the average placement here is 6-7 lack per annum. INFOCSIS is the most consistent company approaching here in terms of placement here. Almost 70n% of students gets placement here every year.

- Hectic class schedules and regular theory classes.

- The campus is lush green and it is surrounded by natural scenic places.

- The frequent exams are very tiring. More focus is on exam than teaching.
- The restrictions imposed on first years students are unreasonable.
Placement Experience:
The placements are good for non-IT core branches as very less IT companies are coming to hire students. About 50 percent of eligible students get placed every year. The average package is nearly four lakhs per annum and the highest package stands at 17 lpa.

- I liked the college environment as it provides a Greenery campus.
- I liked the infrastructure of the college, clubs and fests.
Dislikes
- The cons about the college is that it has open campus and the seniors are little bit rude.
- Development phase is still going on that is many buildings are under construction.

7th semester students are eligible for campus placement, the companies that comes for campus placement are tata, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package was provided with a salary of 1800000, average package is of 800000. About 60% of students get placed. My plans after getting degree is to clear gate exam and get job in Psu.

- Faculty members are very friendly towards the students.
- The club experience is very nice here and so many things are here to explore

- The college has a open campus that's why it has some disadvantages.
- Mess food quality can be better sometimes.

Yes placement record is good. Last year in mechanical engineering there are 100 placements from the total 120 students. And in other branches also there are good placement records. In ETC branch there is highest of 47 lpa. And overally the placement is good in our college.

- Closed should be there ,mess food , campus
- Infrastructure , some seniors , no wifi free campus

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course are real life experience and practical knowledge , passion.the curriculum prepares me for real-world applications or further academic pursuits very well.

- The campus is very clean and tidy Also have decent Greenery with developed Infrastructure

- Hostel Mess food can be better for veg days

The Placements are quite Good for Core branches as well as Non core .! Various Companies visits Here.. such as Maruti Suzuki L&T Jindal Steel and Power Hindalco Tata Steel Vadanta TCS Many other companies visit but above are very regular companies , almost 65 percent students get on campus placements

- The most amazing things are clubs. And the greenary present here.
- The large campus area, the food quality.
Dislikes
- The mess food could be better for atleast the freshers
- The college infrastructure could be improved.

The placements in our college is quite good. And the average package is around 600000 to 700000. Many companies are come here for the placements like l&t, Maruti Suzuki, Jindal steel and power, Tata steel, Tcs etc.

- Lab infrastructure and facilities available for gaining field experience and research work
Dislikes
- The hectic schedule and syllabus of first year as we have to study subjects of all branches.
- There are lots of restrictions on first year student and we have to proper formals.
Placement Experience:
Lot's of company visit the college and there are good opportunities available for the students to get placed. But Students have to work hard and gain skills instead of sticking to curriculum only. One has to develop personal skills also.

What is your review of VSSUT Burla for EE?
Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
