BTech in Production Engineering: Course, Admission, Eligibility, Colleges, Syllabus, Scope, Salary 2024

The internship opportunities at NIT Agartala are quite good, especially for the Production Engineering branch. Many reputed companies visit the campus to offer roles in manufacturing, supply chain, and operations. I completed my professional internship at Tata Motors, which was an incredible experience. My project involved understanding shop-floor operations and assembly line efficiency. Working on real-world manufacturing tasks helped me apply the theoretical concepts I learned in class to actual production problems. Most of these internships come with a decent stipend and provide a clear path toward future employability. Overall, the college does a great job of connecting us with major automotive and energy corporations.

Campus life at NIT Agartala is pretty vibrant. Our technical fest, Aayam, and the cultural fest, Moksha, are the big highlights, usually happening around February and March. They really help break the monotony of the 9-to-5 academic schedule. The infrastructure is solid—the library is huge with plenty of journals, and the classrooms are modern and well-equipped. There’s a lot of focus on sports and clubs too, which makes social life active even when you're staying in the hostel. Being part of student-run groups has been a great way to meet people and develop skills outside of just Production Engineering. Overall, it’s a well-rounded experience.

The faculty to student ratio is quite decent . The faculty's here are highly qualified from IIT's so they really have great teaching skills . They are also very helpful with whatever hepl need . I really like our HOD Prakash kumar . Here 2 mid sems are conducted for every semester and an end semester exam . The level of exams here is good so if you study before a day for examination then it may be difficult for you to pass the exam .

The placements are very good for the core branches like mechanical, electrical, chemical, production & civil but not so good for tech branches. The highest package offered for this year is 38lpa off campus the average package is mostly 6-7lpa . From my branch till now 80% of students are placed for 2021 batch. My plan is mainly to clear gate and get into some of the psu's.

Accenture , amada soft , ashok leyland , BHEL , BEML , anand group, tata , flipkart , meesho etc companies come and roles are offered by them are software development, data engineer , engines repairing , web development , design machines part , manager with different post manage , stipend are provided , you have to make a project related field as in you want to select easily .

Here is many fest and clubs , pragyan technical , aaveg , Festember cultural , delta and many more .All students can get books and read in library and also can take books on their Hostels without any fee only I'd card required , digital classroom available , games and sports are played as extracurricular activities .

The overall couse fee is around 3 lakh with your hostel and mess fee in which tution fee is around 7000 per year , student fund fee is around 7000 , hostel maintenance fee is around 7500 and electricity fee is around 2500 . A examination fee which is taken per semester is around 2000 . If you category is sc or st you tution fee is around 2 thousand per year .our institution provide many scholarship opportunities like e Kalyan which gives your tution fee

Overall the campus experience was immense . Every month or weeks there is events or fest organised by clubs . All types of academic books are available in our central library.A non academic libraries was also here names Gandhi rachnatmak samiti library.All types of sports provided by college
