Should I choose BIT Mesra or NIT Agartala for production engineering?

Both these branches are completely different in terms of the course content and then the future job description as well, so the important thing here is to know what you want and how you want to shape your future. Comparison: If you are interested in coding then you should go for IT at UIET where you may not have the most appealing packages but if you do great in that college with good grades in all 4 years then you will definitely land a well-paying job at a company like TCS or Infosys. If you choose to do production engineering at NIT Agartala then there are some things that should be kept in mind, the branch itself isn’t well established and is average when you talk about faculties and the overall quality. However, the NIT tag will be beneficial for your career throughout your professional life. If the branch is your priority go for ECE, however, Production Engineering also has grown as a department. You can make your careers in Supply Change, Quality Management, and Control, etc. Other than this, your choice should depend upon the location. Give preference to the one that's closer to your home. Both the colleges are tier 3 Indian engineering colleges and the graduates have been working in companies with a package of 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Student Snaps:

NIT Agartala is the best NIT of Agartala and fees differes for different people. Like general category students of Tripura has to pay 60000 while for general category outsiders have to pay a fees of 80000 yearly. Also, reserved category and PWD students are given scholarship and has to pay just 10000 a year.

For people having annual income less than 1 lakh donot have to pay any fees for 1-5 lakh it will be 1/3 which is around 36000 tuition fees and rest have to pay full fees which is 80000 semester wise.hostel and mess fees will be same for all which is around 37000(hostel+mess)

Short glimpse of NITA

Yearly fees for SC around 15K and there are many scholarship opportunities .There are many state level schemes and central level schemes also which pays good enough.There are also many merit based schemes and private schemes in which we have to appear for scholarship test also.

First they take around 75000 in counselling and this money compensate in next semesters. The tuition fee is around 62000 in first semester after that it become less. But i am an ST student so my total tuition fee is cancelled. There is lots of scholarship here NSP i applied for it and get verified at institute level. I am not completely sure but as my senior said that in this scholarship we get around 90000 rupees every year.

Review of NIT-AGARTALA

The total tution fees goes upto 1.5 lakh rs per year, but there are certain benifits given to the students from poor background. If your family income is less than 1 lakh per year, you entire tuition fees will be remitted. If your family income is between 1lakh rs to 5 lakh rs your two-third of fee will be remitted, also if you are an sc-st or pwd student, your 100 percent tution fee is remitted. Since, my father is an railway employee and his income is more than 10 lakhs rs, I need to pay my entire tution fees without any wavier. Caution money is around 7000rs and hostel and mess fee combined is around 30000 rs. There are a few scholarship programme for students such as NSP, reliance, ffe, but they are only for very poor students.

1. for 1st year total fee is 87250 2. tuition fees of 1st semester is = 17125 rs, caution money=5000, hostel admission fee = 2000 rs , hostel rent per semester=4000, mess fee= 20000, electricity charges= 1000 rs , water chareges =600, hostel development fee= 500 rs , transport charges=100rs , total amount paid in 1st semester = 50325 , THIS is for SC , ST And whose familly income is less than 1 lakh for obc and gen ews category students . 3. and for 2nd semester tuition fee is 9425 , , mess+hostel fee is = 27500 for 4 . for obc , gen ews and gen whose family income is above 1 lakh their tuition fee is = 62500 per semester and hostel + mess fee remains same . 5.scholarship provided by college for sc,st,obs,ews general through nsp(national scholarship portal) based on their merit.

In this collage fee is varying according to students' parents anual income for example my anual income is less then 1 lakh then i have not pay any tution fee but whose income is in the range of 1 to 5 lakh they have paid 2/3 of tution fee and whose income is greater than 5 lakh they are paying full tution fee
