The B.tech fee structure varies depending upon category and annual family income.For general/obc students per semeter tution fee is 75000 rupees if family income is above 5 lakhs. if family income ranges between 1lac- 5lac then tution fee will get reduced to 41000-50000 range.But for the students having family income less than 1lac also sc/st/PwD students are exempted from tution fees, they will only pay for other fees,student activity fee,grade card fee,T & P fees, convocation fee.

My views on NIT-A

So as I am from a reserved category i.e. SC , I don't have any semester fees for first year because the fees I've paid during josaa and csab counselling was shifted to the semester fees.And we have access to NSP for scholarships so I've applied for Ishan Uday scholarship and there are other scholarships too available for sc students.I exactly don't know what's the exact fees for us (sc students) for the whole course but for open category students I guess it's around 6lakhs .

Each semester it is equally distributed Fees structure depends on family income of either below 1 lakh or below 5 lakh or above 5 lakhs.the hostel and mess fee of 27k is common for every student .The only difference comes in tution fees . below 1 lakh students it is less than 10 k for below 5 laks ist arround 25k for 5 lakhs above it's 50k.

TRUE FACTS ABOUT NIT AGARTALA

fees here in nit agartala is 62500(tution fees) per semester and including other fees it goes around 82000 per semester and hostel and mess fees is about 66000 per year but fee waivers are given by government of india that is 100% fee waiver to sc and st students and among general and obc students the students who have family income less than 1 lakh per annum gets 100% tution fee waiver and the students who have family income between 1 to 5 lakh gets 2/3rd waiver of tution fees.

my 4 year roller Coser in nit agartala

nit agartal takes fee semister wise i got seat in other state quaota and as i am an st catogeoy person my tution fee per semesr is arount 25000 and for four year it is approx 200000 and hostel fee is same for every one 20000 per semister 2 laks fpr 4 years approx and the excess monry will be refunded. for general catageory tution fee will be aroung 68000 per semister and hostel fee is same as mentioned above but no need to worry the chances of gettting nsp and ffe scholarhips are very high.( nsp givs us 90000 per year and fe gives 40000 per year in addition to that so many peope will teach tutions using the nit tag.) , for nsp scholorship we need at least 95 percentile in jee mains , for ffe atleast 92 percentile and we need to prove that we in finacial distress and need aid.

The good, the bad, and the verdict

My category is obc and i pay almost 1lac 20 thousand per year as a tuition fee in 1st semester it was like 85 thousand i paid during counselling and confirmation of seat in college and then during registration in college i paid almost 36thousand for hostel mess and registration fee. My friends whose categories are sc or st they do not need to pay tuition fee they only pays for tuition fee. According to fee structure fee is not constant in all semester sometime it is more or less but almost same. There is difference of only onethousand or five hundred.
