The lushful green and big campus, you almost feel lost in the beauty of it.
Academics is not very hard here in my college, scoring 8+ pointer is comparatively easy.
Professors are helpful , they guide you through and through , placements are decent enough.

Dislikes

The girls to boys Ratio is a bit lacking, it's around 6:1 ratio.
The buildings are not well developed, they Lack air conditioning.
Although placements are good but in some branches like Civil and production they are a bit lacking.

I choose this college because I wanted best branch possible at my rank. And at my rank I had the option to choose between Nit Surat Chemical engineering or Nit agartala Electronics and instrumentation engineering but i chose the latter because branch matters to me more than college. Although the college is not perfect and lacks in many departments but my department is not one of them. Placement rates in my branch are high with decent 8-10LPA packages. I wouldn't say that the admission process was smooth it took my whole day and I had to wait in line. My college accepts JEE mains exam students for their B.tech degree.

clubs and events

Dislikes

Mess food can be improved in some hostels.
Internet connectivity is limited in hostels and classrooms, which makes it difficult to access online resources for assignments and research.
Trash at some places in the campus

I applied for IITS a few state govt.engineering colleges and others nits through jee mains so ia got confirmed admission offers from state engineering colleges but preferred nit agartala due to its nit tag , better reputations , infrastructure , and good placements opportunities

Life at NIT Agartala

Likes

College Campus is green and had a very nice environment.
The Buildings were clean and were interconnected.
Wi-fi connectivity throughout the campus and easy connectivity to various places from campus

Dislikes

The campus is too big so tough to travel at night without bus or a reserved vehicle service
The rooms were too big and less cooling happened in it.
The Lifts needed repairing too often and we needed to go till 6 floors by staircases.

Admission:

Firstly my college is the no.1 college in my state and the second after NIT Silchar in the northeast region. The Admission was done via JOSAA which was the platform for enrollment which uses JEE Mains marks for enrollment. My college provides the best in its beauty, accomodation, vividness and placements and hence became the top choice for any graduates looking for the admission.

hostels are great and feels like hotel especially RNT hostel with all proper availabilities like lifts,furnished room, bathroom , cleanliness is done properly, balcony, and view is jusrt great.
conncetivity is good in the campus itself there are different cafeterias and shops , airport is just 14 Kms away and nearest station is 4 kms city is 12 kms from the campus and auto is available at the campus and campus gate itself.

Dislikes

More new Shops and cafes should be opened as options are limited specially for students other than bengalis and tribal communities as food options are limited.
Professors behaviour can be better towards students but this is a universal problems of all colleges.
internet can be better as there are only 2gb is available

Admission:

I chose because i was getting engineering phy in this college and camups and hostel infra is good enough to opt. admission process is smooth i got it througgh JOSAA and then physical admission was quite smooth i visited college and then they asked for basic docs and done.

Climate and food and the class rooms also good
And sport's complex is very nice and there is so many sport's and equipment is soo good
And study is very good and the library is very Nice

Dislikes

Some times food i don't like and water problem in hostels
And the rainy season clg is always wet i don't like
And there is language problem and they using hindi

Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Likes

a spacious campus with a lot of greenary, good infrasturcture,hostels like RNT,ARYABHATTA,GOMATI,GARGI.
Compared to private colleges the tution & hostel fees are less.
experienced faculty, well structured curriculum and research opportunities.

Dislikes

Remote location with poor connectivity with main city and airport.
climate is so humid and summer might be uncomfortable for students.
placement variations: core engineering branched got less placements than CS/IT.

First of all this government college which you get from JEE mains exam so there are some PSU's also various companies are attracted to such National Institutes and that the reason why I choose this college.After JEE main i applied in JOSAA for seat allocation to get admission in NIT and i put this college as my preference for electronics and communication engineering. Cutoff is appoximately for this branch is about 94 percentile for GEN/OBC and category wise above 88 percentile to secure admission here.

My views on NIT-A

Likes

The campus has a lot of flowers and greenery everywhere.
We have fests in college like MOKSHA , AYAM , etc.
We have different cultural and technical clubs .

Dislikes

The classroom that they provided us in the 1st semester.
The fare of the autos are a little much.
There's nothing more I dislike about my college

The academic calendar is well balanced and the examination schedule is also perfectly balanced
The environment is too good like having more plants ands trees around each and every department
Support towards every aspect like games and clubs are good

The medical is not upto the standards.It can be made in proper manner
There is no delivery of Swiggy and zomato to the college

My jee main rank is around 20k in general catogery. I got many iiits like pune, sonipat, bit mishra it, iist shibpur it, etc But i took help of my brother who is studing at nit agartala cse he guided me to join it. You can choose good nits by leaving cse but cse is my first preference
