NIT Agartala B.Tech Electrical Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

I joined NIT Agartala in 2021 under the GEN EWS category with a family income between 1–5 lakh. Because of this I get a two third remission on tuition fees. My academic fees per semester are usually around 25,000–30,000, with the first semester being higher due to one time charges. Over 8 semesters my total academic cost comes to about 2.3 lakh. For students in the general category without remission the total is around 5.7 lakh for the full BTech program. The hostel fees are separate. In the first semester I paid about 31,200 including admission fee, caution deposit, rent, utilities and mess advance. From the second semester onwards the hostel charges are about 25,200 per semester, covering rent, electricity, water, development charges, transport and mess. Over 4 years hostel expenses add up to roughly 2 lakh. So in my case the combined cost of academics and hostel is around 4.3 lakh. For student whose family income is more than 5 lakh it comes to about 7.7–7.8 lakh. Students at NIT Agartala can also apply for scholarships such as Merit cum Means, Post Matric for SC ST OBC, Top Class Education. Many of my batchmates from reserved categories pay only the nominal semester charges since their tuition is fully waived and scholarships cover part of their living expenses.

So as I am from a reserved category i.e. SC , I don't have any semester fees for first year because the fees I've paid during josaa and csab counselling was shifted to the semester fees.And we have access to NSP for scholarships so I've applied for Ishan Uday scholarship and there are other scholarships too available for sc students.I exactly don't know what's the exact fees for us (sc students) for the whole course but for open category students I guess it's around 6lakhs .

Each semester it is equally distributed Fees structure depends on family income of either below 1 lakh or below 5 lakh or above 5 lakhs.the hostel and mess fee of 27k is common for every student .The only difference comes in tution fees . below 1 lakh students it is less than 10 k for below 5 laks ist arround 25k for 5 lakhs above it's 50k.

My category is obc and i pay almost 1lac 20 thousand per year as a tuition fee in 1st semester it was like 85 thousand i paid during counselling and confirmation of seat in college and then during registration in college i paid almost 36thousand for hostel mess and registration fee. My friends whose categories are sc or st they do not need to pay tuition fee they only pays for tuition fee. According to fee structure fee is not constant in all semester sometime it is more or less but almost same. There is difference of only onethousand or five hundred.

Actually the fee to be paid per semester is nearly 1 lakh rupees tuition fee and nearly 30 thousand rupees hostel fee. But you can avail a tuition fee waiver if you are in BPL(below poverty line). Then you should only pay the hostel fee. I have paid intially 70 thousand for josaa and later 30 thousand including host fee and initial fees in my first sem. I did not pay any tuition fee, and later every semester I will pay nearly 30 thousand only

The year-wise fees is 160000 . The semester-wise fees are ajdusted through PAF in JOSAA .One time fees =Rs1500. Tuition fess per semester =Rs62500. Other fees(per semester)=Rs8925. There are seperate fee waivers for girl children Also charges are taken for sports facilities 200 rupees each semester for 8 semesters ...

Fees per semester are different for everyone considering their annual income or caste and in certain cases, financial aid is provided. Normally fees for general people are required to pay around 70-72k per semester but with grants and scholarships, it is sometimes less.

I have been provided with the benefits of scholarship there are three groups of students Delhi keeps tuition fees in three different amount one below the one lakh gather group is between 1 lakh and 5 lakh and the other group is above 5 lakh I am holding please in less than 100000 category so I am giving a tuition fees of approx 8000 per semester
