What is the average package for CSE at NIT Agartala?

NIT Agartala does not release official statements of branch-wise statistics so it's difficult to produce data on the same. However, I asked a few friends regarding the CSE placements at NIT Agartala. Based on what I heard from them, the placements are decent. Almost 100% of students were placed in 2022 and the average package is INR 13–14 LPA. The highest package was recorded at around INR 53 LPA while the lowest package was INR 8.5 LPA. Many top companies visit the campus for recruitment and the institute has an active training and placement cell that offers assistance to the students in securing internships and placements. Which is better, LNMIIT CSE or NIT Agartala CSE?

I feel LMNIIT CSE is a much better choice than NIT Agartala CSE provided that you have the financial means to get admission there. Here is why I feel it's better than NIT Agartala LMNIIT has a more updated and flexible curriculum than NIT Agartala. LMNIIT has a better crowd since the admissions are purely based on merit and there is no reservation policy. Many IT giants visit LMNIIT every year for placements which isn't the case at NIT Agartala as the job opportunities are limited there. Jaipur has better opportunities for preparation for competitive exams like CAT and GRE. LNMIIT is not a private college but a Public Private Partnership so you will avail the benefits of this high brand value in the industry. So, is better to look beyond the NIT tag and choose LMNIIT because the tag does not matter much more than academics and placements.

Fees and Financial Aid:

As I am in government college and my parent income is below 1 lakh. So there is 100% tuition fee is free..but the other fees included examination fees, development fees,and others..it is maximum 6-7k per semester ..but in last year of me college it is 10k approx..and as I am living in hostel ..so in my first year .my first hostel fees was 37k approx . including initial fees ..but as now hostel fees are approx 25k . And the student whose parents income is above 5 lakh .they have to pay fees of 70k approx per semester

We have to pay 62500 per semester , for sc st there is less fee which is 2/3rd less of actual fee . From NSP you can avail scholarship for OBC/SC/ST students. There is no lab fee , but you have to pay 30000 per semester hostel fee

The fees for national institute of technology Agartala is very low and it was around 20000 per year and the hostel fees was around 50000 per year and the food will good and friends will be also good..

NIT Agartala review from final year student

The fees are moderate to high. If you have any caste certificate like SC , ST or income is below 1 lakh per year then you don't have to pay the tution fee which is like 125000 per year. So if you belong to any of these category you have to provide around 16000 per year to the college(excluding hostel) else it will be 125000 + 16000. There are many scholarships like ishan uday(which can be applied if you are not a repeater + there is mark requirement of like 70-75% in board exams + income less than 4 lakh ) which gives almost 80000 per year. If yoiu are from homestate then you can apply for post madhyamik scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First year course is totally irrelevant except a few of the topics. I'm a CSE fresher why the hell are they making me study Distaster management, graphics and random physics chemistry topics. The course structure needs refurbishment according to latest industry requirement.

Fees is about 1.5 L PER YEAR .Hostel fees included in the fees above.We can apply for different scholarship like NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL. SC,ST have full fee Waiver only mess and hostel fees have to pay .

NIT Agartala offers a robust curriculum with a focus on engineering and technology, backed by experienced faculty members.

The fees are not skyrocket high as private college, it's the one of many privileges that you would likely to get in NITA. For the students whose family income is less than 5 lac , they will get a fees remission of 75% i.e they have to pay only 25% fee of the academic year. And the students having income less than 1 lac would get 100% fees remission. Besides there are other scholarship opportunities here like ishan Uday, PM SHRI, NER(north east student only) etc through NSP portal

As of now the intial course fee is 7000, and semester fee will be around 5.5k-6.5k for each semester and hostel fee will be around 25k at most for the ews students with income less than1 lakh,sc and st students and other small fees like development fee deducted along with hostel fee, And scholarships too available for the students like fee for general category and nsp for others [ FFE-40k to 60k, NSP-varies but sum will be great], student loan is available too for financial aid.
