Which is better, production engineering at NIT Agartala or ECE at NIT Mizoram?

Your decision completely depends on your priority as to what is the most important to you, the branch or the college. Being a graduate from NIT Agartala, I would suggest you go for NIT Agartala rather than NIT Mizoram. If college is the most important to you then you should go for NIT Agartala. The infrastructure is far better than most of the NITs. You may have to face some trouble regarding the faculties as they are not up to the mark. If the branch is your priority go for ECE, however, Production Engineering also has grown as a department. You can make your careers in Supply Change, Quality Management, and Control, etc. Other than this, your choice should depend upon the location. Give preference to the one that's closer to your home. Both the colleges are tier 3 Indian engineering colleges and the graduates have been working in companies with a package of 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology CSE is better compared to NIT Agartala ECE. It offers better placements. MAKAUT Kolkata placements are great for CSE. Each year around 85% of students get placed from the branch. The average CTC for the branch is around INR 4 LPA. While the highest CTC goes up to around INR 14 LPA. Major companies such as IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc. recruit from MAKAUT.

This year I paid 6525 as tution fee..being an SC candidate. My batchmates from general category paid 70000. On my first year I too paid around 40000. But now its reducing with time.There are various scholarships available for SC ST and general depending on their family income.

I am paying almost 15000 per year as Becasue my annual income is less than one lakh my tuition fee is 0. The caution fee is 5000, admission fee is 1000, development fee is 5000, medical fee is 1200, student activity fee is 1000, grade card fee is 500, id card fee is 200, grade card fee is 500 and all other fee is 2425 but it may varies semester to semester. The actual fee is 80000 per year but if your annual income is ranges between 1lakhs to 5 lakhs then you have to pay nearly 27000 that is 1/3rd of total tuition fee. There will be many scholarhsip is there for first year students if you are come from obc and st/sc category those are first is FFE Scholrship which provides nearly 50000 per year and second is ONGC Scholarhsip which provide 48000 per year student can get benifits of only one of them scholrships.

Is National Institute of Technology Agartala still a good choice in 2025?

This is my second year at National institute of technology Agartala.The fees I paid last year was around 2.2 lakhs.It included hostel fees,mess fees, tution fees and some extra nominal fees. The tution fees is around 70,000 per semester.So, basically it sums to around 1,40,000 per year.The hostel fees is around 30,000 per semester.The mess fees is included with the hostel fees.We also need to pay for development fees, WiFi fees etc. Our college also offers scholarship to the students.Students below 5 lakhs family income are given remission in the fees. Those who are below 1 lakh family income are given 100% fees remission and those who are below 5 lakhs family income are given around 60% fees remission.Also, you can apply for scholarship like NSP. Overall, this is a good and affordable college where you can get good academic knowledge.

I have paid 1.45 lakh per year for general /obc is it 1.45 lakh in first year and in second year it is 1.30 lakh/ year . for the sc /st tuition fees is free they have to pay around 15,000-20,000/ year. fees of ,my batchmates was 62,000 per years Scholarship were available for the nita students were : National Handicaped were give financial development of 3 lakh per year . North Eastern Scholarship for sc/st was 90,000 per year . ONGC Scholarship for 3rd year branch topper 20,000 IOCL Scholarship for the students whose family income is less upto 60,000 were given 1,00000 . merit cum scholarship were given of 12,000 per year + tution fees waiver for OBC-NCL and GEN-EWS. National Scholarship were given to state specific scholarship for OBC,SC/ST

The Tution fee for my batch of 2025 was around 42K, registration fee was 2K, admission fee was around 4200, development fee from 500 and including all other expenses its about 100000 per year. The students based on different annual incomes get lowered from 42k to 14k. The students can also avail scholarships like: ONGC MERIT SCHOLARSHIP, NSP 2.O Scholarships for SC,ST and North-East Students, etc.

The B.tech fee structure varies depending upon category and annual family income.For general/obc students per semeter tution fee is 75000 rupees if family income is above 5 lakhs. if family income ranges between 1lac- 5lac then tution fee will get reduced to 41000-50000 range.But for the students having family income less than 1lac also sc/st/PwD students are exempted from tution fees, they will only pay for other fees,student activity fee,grade card fee,T & P fees, convocation fee.

The year wise fee i am paying is per semester : 6500 examination fee + 24500(hostel+mess fee) this changes here and there for each semester .since i have an income certificate of below 1 lakh income my tution fee of (75000)per semester is waived.
