- Infrastructure is quite old here for few buildings.
- Some lab machines are not in proper condition.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course here is very relevant to the branch of production and industrial engineering. The course also provides us with hands on experience to works like welding and foundry and also introduces us to software like cad & cam .
Internships Opportunities
In the first year different students had done there internship from different places like tata steel , bccl , sail , Siemens but it was not paid as we were in our 1st year . But yes from 3rd year we do get paid internships.
Placement Experience
The placements are very good for the core branches like mechanical, electrical, chemical, production & civil but not so good for tech branches. The highest package offered for this year is 38lpa off campus the average package is mostly 6-7lpa . From my branch till now 80% of students are placed for 2021 batch. My plan is mainly to clear gate and get into some of the psu's.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees for a general/obc/ews candidate is around 16000 for academic whereas for sc/st and girl candidates is 8000. Hostel fees here is 9500 for a year . The monthly mess fees is 4000. Scholarships here are siemens, reliance and e kalyan ( government based scholarships).
Campus Life
You don't really see such big events in BIT SINDRI but there are some small events like FRESHER OF THE YEAR , Techfest , and other small events. We a library which is very bug and consists of a large number of books . There are different vlubs and societies in college covering different aspects.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fees is very less here which is around 10k a year and provides with all the facilities like water and 24hr electricity. The mess food quality is good and it charges 3900 per month which comparatively high . The registration process for hostel is very simple . There is a locality outside the main gate of college where you can find rented rooms .
Admission
I applied for only the state government colleges in which BIT SINDRI was on my top list because this college has a very strong alumni network as it was built in 1949. The other state government colleges are new and not so good . So if you want to choose best government college in Jharkhand go for BIT SINDRI . The admission process was very smooth you just need to bring some of the documents. For getting admission in BIT SINDRI you must be a local resident of Jharkhand.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite decent . The faculty's here are highly qualified from IIT's so they really have great teaching skills . They are also very helpful with whatever hepl need . I really like our HOD Prakash kumar . Here 2 mid sems are conducted for every semester and an end semester exam . The level of exams here is good so if you study before a day for examination then it may be difficult for you to pass the exam .
Night Life
There is a cafeteria inside the college where the students usually go and the food is really nice over there . There is a central library with tons of books . The sports club has a gym . The boys hostel usually closes by 11pm and girls hostel by 9 pm . The famous hangout place in campus are hk , pmc and outside are dhanbad , shehrpura
