- Best workshops and practical learning options available for students of each and every trade.
- Every basic needs of students is available in campus itself in a very affordable price.
- The college campus is full of natural beauty and is having grounds for every sports with well maintained sports club, where you can enroll free of cost.
Dislikes
- Hostels are in campus itself but still you have to walk around 2 kms to reach to your classrooms everyday.
Placement Experience:
After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements and PPOs.
Tata motors, Tata Powers, Jindal Steel Limited, etc with an average number of 5-6 students.
In my batch highest package was 11 LPA in Tata Steels and overall average package was 6 LPA.
Around 40% students were get placed in my batch.
Preparations for government examninations to get into PSUs.

- Mess availability and facilities provided here
- The behaviour of the teaching and non teaching staff specially
- the swiftness in paper work as well as official terms being carried out in administratiuon
Dislikes
- power cut is one of the major problems here which is common in places inside jharkhand
- no availability to wifi in the students hotel , it is only provided in the central library
- somewhat less package than average in the soft branches
Placement Experience:
placements are good in core branches like electrical and mechanical
if a student gets no placement then he/she appears for off campus placements or prepare for government exams here mostly
form 7th semester students start getting placement offers
vedanta , tata , infosys , etc have visited here for more than 200 offers in different branches
highest poackage last year was 16 lakhs and average package is 7 lakhs
almost 96% srtudents get placed here
after btech i will ive gate and carry for psu

- All over college is very good I like most of the thing in the college nearly everything faculty also very good teaching process is also very good faculties are also very well educated and they have done PHD
- Girls boys ratio is average interaction is well so very average and environmental is very good for girls also in the college and boys also both seniors and also supportive and helping Nature teachers are also helping Nature and they also help student
- Place placement cell is very good they all the train students how to sit in placement interviews they also take test and also help student to maintain their personality in front of placement cell placement is very good company is are coming and colle
Dislikes
- I only dislike some seniors are there taking ragging
- Hostels are good new still also are being made but old hostels are pretty old but they are also good
Placement Experience:
College placement is very good I considered is very good in Jharkhand as college his providing very high placement to the cox's like electrical mechanical metallurgy mining their very much companies who take more students from this college because as this college has very good reputation in Jharkhand and not very bad package lowest package goes to 4 lakh but average packages and student from 3rd year from the companies my plans 18 to 20 LPa

- Among the few things that i like are the lush green campus and the clubs and societies in the campus.Whatever is happening in BIT in terms of fests, cultural events or competitions are most of the times organised by clubs of BIT.
- I like the central library.Although it is not too big.It has a decent number of books and if you want to spend time reading its a good spot.
- The third thing is the canteen which is the best place in the campus.
Dislikes
- Poor infrastructure of the lecture halls. The lecture halls and auditorium have not been renovated from a long time.
- Lack of sport facilities. BIT has no sports facilities other than a cricket and a volleyball ground.
- not big tech fests or cultural fests. There are fests but on a very small scale.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

- This college has a supportive environment by seniors, professors.
- The Alumini Network of this college is very strong.
- The Campus is very green and clean and surrounded with many trees.
Dislikes
- It has some lack of facilities like not having a gym for boys.
- The Library of this college ipens at 9 am and closes at 5 pm which is very worst thing that i dislike.
- This college does not organises fests like other colleges.
Placement Experience:
The placement scenario of my college Birsa Institute of Technology(BIT), Sindri is not that much high but its average. But its very good compared to east side nit (lower nit). Its average package is 10 lakh per annum. Many apply for off campus andd has got many good offers like 45 lpa, 36 lpa..

- according to fees, the building structures are very nicely maintained.
- I got to learn to live life with cheapest cost possible.
- the faculities of my branch are supportive except some.
Dislikes
- The restriction applied by the senior like white formal dress is necessary for first year.
- The language used by seniors are so offensive but yeah, with sometime you get to know to handle them.
- There is no neaby shops to eat something , even cafe are not allowed for first year. So, need to go MG to eat something but MG are also not allowed to first year.
Placement Experience:
The oncampus placement are not much good, but you can get offcampus by approaching companies on the basis of your skills you can crack a good package.You can sit in oncampus plcament but if you crack a deal with a company u can't sit for other companies.

- the return to investment in this college is very fair.
- the infrastructure in this college is very good and still developing rapidly .
- the fee is very affordable and the surrounding market is also cheap.
Dislikes
- the reservation is very high and sc & st community gets so much advantage .
- the college is located at outskirts of main city Dhanbad .
- there is some sort of ragging culture which is also present here. Talking about the girls to boys ratio it is 25 to 75.
Placement Experience:
The placement stats of BIT Sindri is quite impressive because the core branch placement is too good .
it offers around 90% placement to branch like mechanial , electrical , mining , metal.
technical branch placement is also improving yearly.

- The return of investment of this college is best in India .
- It has a strong alumni network, who help during placements.
- It has a huge campus of around 450 acres, so you never feel bore here.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is quite old here for few buildings.
- Some lab machines are not in proper condition.
- Distance between hostel and lecture hall is around 1.5 km
Placement Experience:
The placements are very good for the core branches like mechanical, electrical, chemical, production & civil but not so good for tech branches. The highest package offered for this year is 38lpa off campus the average package is mostly 6-7lpa . From my branch till now 80% of students are placed for 2021 batch. My plan is mainly to clear gate and get into some of the psu's.

- The things i liked in Bit Sindri is the affordability and return of investment. The lush green campus 450 acre of land gives a vibrant college life moments.
- The number of fooding outlets in the campus is also a good number including a Nescafe ,cafeteria and Maggi spot.
- There are twenty two registered club and each branch has its own society and hance creating a vibrant and joyful environment in the campus .Each have its own EVENT.
Dislikes
- There are few restriction for first year students which is only valid for few months and there is less accountability on light in hostel.
- There is restriction on dress code for each year except final year. the campus is open so there is cattle moment in campus.
- Sindri is pretty much in the outskirts of the main town which is Dhanbad for about 22 km away but still our own station called Sindri station and we have local train for Dhanbad in regular interval
Placement Experience:
The placement is desent for core engineering and is more focused on core placement , it sector have not much placement but electrical and mechanical placement are good .they also get a chance for pre placement and internship provided there academic performance are good .teacher and professors do provide guidance and technique for gate and engineering exam.

- so the college is very affordable , and the ROI of the college is great and there are different buildings for different departments and also hostels are allotted in the branch wise ...means each branch has specific hostels
- Placements in the collage is very much related to the branch you are in and also market requirements. Our college have training and placement cell called TAP cell.
- Senior junior relations are very much like an engineering college is depicted in movies, the banter the brotherhood is very energetic. Coming to the clubs we have 22 registered clubs in bit with each branch having its own society.
Dislikes
- Campus rules, 1st year students have some restrictions, the restrictions are also for a smaller time and it also adds fun to college life.
- College locality lacks food outlets and quality is bit low . The main station is Dhanbad which is 22km away but we have our own station called Sindri station where the local trains starts for DHANBAD at regular intervals
- the gym is only allowed for 3rd and final year students with limited equipments.
Placement Experience:
Placement is decent for core engineering and is more focused on core placement.Cs have not much placement but electrical and mechanical placements are good .They too get preplacement and internships provided there academic performance are good. Teachers and profesor do provide guidance and techniques for GATE and other engineering exams. STUDENTS are eligible after 6th sem and infact many get PPO from the companies they have done internship.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.
- The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
- BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
- There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
- The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
- Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.
The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
