Course Curriculum Overview
there is a good placement in the mechanical branch so i chose this there are many lab manuals and practical handling of machines whuich gives experience about the real world applications the syllabus can be updated a little as it is very old in the engineering history of india i think the schedule of exams are quite good and needs no improivement
Internships Opportunities
companies like tata , jsw , offer internships of stipend around 5to10k per month some interns are hired without stipend also to see the operations and participate in seminars or discussion to get experience of working environment
Placement Experience
placements are good in core branches like electrical and mechanical if a student gets no placement then he/she appears for off campus placements or prepare for government exams here mostly form 7th semester students start getting placement offers vedanta , tata , infosys , etc have visited here for more than 200 offers in different branches highest poackage last year was 16 lakhs and average package is 7 lakhs almost 96% srtudents get placed here after btech i will ive gate and carry for psu
Fees and Financial Aid
During admission student fund fee was taken worth 7500 which is per semester and annual fee of 8000 was also taken . Hostel fee is yearly worth 7500 , mess fee is 60000 yearly and electricity fee is 2500 yearly. Examination fee will be taken prior to semester exams . The fee structure is nearly same for general and obc category , but there is some relaxation for categories of ST,SC and EWSorTFW(tutiuon fee waiver). There is a scholarship provided by the college named "E-Kalayan Yojana" which helps to lower the tution fees of the college.
Campus Life
hacka-o-thon , triveni , robo saga , etc are some opf the events that are held here taking around 1 month there is great stock of bookn s in the library covering all branches includind extra curricular books the classrooms are well equipped with gadgets helping in smooth understanding of concepts different games and tourbnaments are held to promote poarticipation of satudents there are manyclubd coverinbg wide area of interest like dance club , football cklub, sports club , singing club , art club
Hostel Facilities
there is a 2 student room for 1st year students which include 1 pair of cupboard , bed , table , chair each meal nquyality is average as being reviewed by others but menu is quite vast there is a one time registration process for hostel admission which requires fee reciept and uparent consent form if i opted for pg , it would be around the college nearest to my department
Admission
i chose this because of its high return of investment it is better than colleges in banglore because it has great facilities in very less money i couldn't make it to bits pilani as i got very less marks in bitsat to get admission in my college , first we have to give jee main exam and participate in the jceceb counselling and we get seat in different colleges including bit sindri according to the rank in jee main exam jee has been widely chosen exam for students opting for btech all over india , the cutoff percentile for jee adv this year was 93 for general category overall , the admission was quite lenghthy but went well
Faculty
faculty to student ratio is quite good here as asking by the seniors we get to know that the faculties are well behaved here , theyt all help their stuents in time of need i like mr pankaj mishra sir the most who helped in settling down in the college including different fields according to me there is no one here whom you can dislike per semester there are tweo exams held which are in the level of moderate to hard arround 20-30% students fail in the exams the course is relevant according to the daily need of the companies and indsutriues in inida specially the soft branches
Night Life
gym , library , are closede till 9pm after 10pm you cannot exit your hostel main gate withjout permisiion therer is a market outside the main gate where there is a huge crowd polace for students since there is copntinuous police patrol so it is safe to roam around at night within time limits
