Dumka Engineering College: Admission 2026, Fees, Courses, Cutoff, Ranking, Placement

I told him that my friends from diploma time are taking admission here, so I also took admission here and did not think of going anywhere else. Talking about the admission process of the college, you will have to contact the college and book a seat if you want to take a paid seat and after that you will be called for document verification which will be done in the college.

I choose this college mainly because the cutoff was fitting my rank and also it was government college so fee was manageable compared to other options I applied, like some private colleges where fee was too high. I didn’t get chance in a few better colleges because my score was not enough that time, so I decided to go with DEC as it was the safest and stable option. The admission process was simple through JCECE counselling where eligibility was 12th PCM and rank in the state engineering exam, and students mostly prefer JEE or JCECE score depending on seat availability. The overall admission was smooth, document check and seat allotment done quickly, so I felt this college was practical choice for me even if not the top one. Everything else is fine, if you study well you could have got a better college.

I choose this college mainly because it was affordable for me, the cutoff was in my range and the campus felt better compared to the other options I applied for. I had applied to few more government colleges but I didn’t get confirmed seat there because my rank was little higher and I missed the cutoff by small margin. The admission process here was simple, you need to qualify the state entrance exam and meet the branch cutoff, then document verification and fee payment. I picked this college because the process was smooth and I wanted a mechanical seat without wasting one more year.

i choosed this college because the course structure here was more aligned with my carrer goals . also in my area this college have highest percent of placement. also its offering comparable quality of the fees where other colleges are taking more fees

I came from a very poor family and found out that I could not pay fees in other colleges because the fees were too high. I have a free seat in college so I did not have to worry about paying fees, that's why I took admission here.

I applied for this college as i hadn't a good rank in Jee mains and it is kind of affordable for me .The admission process is very simple . You have to have a jee mains scorecard and you have to fill jceceb counselling and as per your jceceb rank you will get admission into this college. You can take admission via management quota too and till now management quota doesn't take any extra donation fees.

Student can get admission through councelling and Management Quota also . Admission procedure is simple and easy. Admission staff are helpful and eager to help. Always available. Admission procedure is easy

This college accepts jee main exam also. Through jcecb counseling. I cleared that counseling but I didn't have residential and caste certificate.so i have to come again through management quota. But I feel like it was worth it. As I am able to secure my 8 cgpa each semester and studying under so many intelligent teachers.

College is semi govt, I got govt seat and marks of jee mains was considered, I don't have much idea about private seat , admission is not difficult and process is very fair ...those who are interested can easily take admission if they have sufficient rank

The admission process is on the basis of an entrance test. Till 2017 it was JCECE, but from 2018 it is on the basis of JEE Mains marks. You can also avail the reservation benefits if you come under that category.
