Dumka engineering college a hidden gem ????

Likes

Teachers are very supportive and we have very well maintained laboratories for each subject of each branch.
Teacher also inform about different kind of programs and internships.Each and every teacher is very sincere towards their respective courses.

Dislikes

There is as such no thing that I should dislike... just want to say that u have to be careful in rainy season as there are so many reptiles roaming here and there.
One more thing our college should open their cafeteria as it is closed since a long time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I took Computer science engineering as my branch in BTech. I was fascinated about the technology since childhood only. When I first learnt about html i found it very very interesting then I learnt python in my 12th standard then I have made mind that I will definately going in this field. After coming into btech i realised is takes time and this subject is all about logic.

I really liked teachers , they are supportive, understanding and teach really good
I like ragging free campus and seniors behaviour

Dislikes

I think placements could have been better
I am dayscholer but most of my friends complain about hostel food

Not so much but yes the course curriculum. College life is Good.
Great faculties ready to help you all the time.

Dislikes

Placement assistance is not upto the mark.
Don't expect infrastructure of campus like IIT/NIT

The course curriculum is good and faculty members are also enough qualified. Most of the faculties are M.Tech passed and some have done Ph.D. From the 2018 session the semester exams are on time as it now comes under JUT.

Best part of this college is that it is near to the market as compared to other colleges of jharkhand.
Seniors of this college are also caring.

Dislikes

Library can be opened on Saturdays and Sundays
Can improve the Wi-Fi range and speed in the campus

Exams are conducted on time sometimes before time. The difficulty level of questions is medium. You can easily pass the exam if you put in a little bit of effort. Exams are conducted by the Jharkhand University of Technology.

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

You have the independence to choose any course in our college no one force. The faculty of the college is very good and supportive. Every subject is explained clearly by our professors. Once a week we get notes from the teacher and after the chapter complete teacher takes a sanptest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECE department is good for your placement purpose because ECE students get jobs in the other 2 branches CSE and EE. There is enough faculty for your syllabus and lab. They are very supportive and they try to be your friend more than a teacher they are always ready to help you. All the teachers are completed their Mtech, PhD. Exam is conduct timely and also result is declare on time and the difficulty of the exam is moderate.
