Fees structure depend on a student based on their Family income and category . Since am an general category student and my fees structure is above 5 lakhs , so i will be having a fees of around 80000 per sem. For others it varies depending upon their scholarship and family income. Like one good scholarship is E grants for SC/ST category students with an anual family income of lees than 1 lakhs.

the fee structure will be based on the annual income of the family.there are three categories that for a student having annual income above 5 lakhs there is no fee waive have to pay the full amount in the beginning of the semester. for the student having annual income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh the fee will be reduced to half.for a student having income less than 1 lakh have no fee, but there are some other fee.all the students can avail the benefits of the scholarships
In my previous year there is only 3000 per semester but in my current semester it like 17000 why this much increment of fee I am not understanding I am below one lakhs student and paying around one lakhs my father is taking loan and stated studing me why this much fee is worth I am thinking

The placement rate is very good . The college will provide all types of scholarship. The scholarship based on the merit and the financial conditions. The college will provide many internships and job opportunities.
It almost cost 72000 per sem as institute fee in this college. But there are many scholarships. So it is very easy to get any deduction. For OBC students with annual income less than 1 lakh have to pay only one third of the fees

It can vary from person to person depending on the quota they've gotten into. Except some international students, I feel it's pretty decent 1.4L per annum doesnt feel too much atleast for me. They also provide scholarships and fee waivers for the others.

You must know what you are getting yourself into. The mechanical engineering department of NITC offers 2 BTech courses that are Mechanical and Production. Both of these departments share faculties, labs, some courses, and other facilities. But at the end of the day, both are different courses.
There are two types of people seen in Production Engineering at NITC:

The placement options are not as rare as students may make out, but it may not be in the field that they are looking for.
So in the end one can say that, if the student truly wants to be a mechanical engineer, then this college probably isn’t for you. If they just want the NIT experience, then they should know what options they will have after college.
You should go for PEC Chandigarh Mechanical. The institute offers decent placements and career opportunities. The placement rate for Mechanical is around 90%. Companies visiting PEC Chandigarh placements recruit students in both core and non-core profiles. The salary packages offered are in the range of INR 3.6 LPA - 22 LPA.
Also, Production is a niche branch. The career opportunities available in the production field are limited compared to the Mechanical field.
