Nit is brand of respect in society so i choosed this college it is one of top 5 nits so placements are also at top peak I applied for few other college to just normally but my main focus is nit I got admission through JEE mains examination which I got a cut off of 99.59 percentile and a rank of 7355 of open category rank which made to get a seat in this college

NIT Calicut offers an MBA program of 2 duration through the regular mode and the fee for the same is INR 72,405 for the 1st year of its program. Here is the detailed process to get admission to NIT Calicut.

NIT Calicut MBA Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have completed their graduation in any discipline/stream from any recognized university.
Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks or 6 CGPA in their graduation.

NIT Calicut MBA Selection Criteria

Applicants are shortlisted based on their CAT score after which they are selected on the basis of a group discussion and personal interview.

Preparations

You have to prepare like any other entrance exam for CAT. Firstly develop a thorough understanding of the syllabus and exam pattern. For this, you can refer to various study materials, online courses, and coaching centers to prepare for the exam. Also, practice time management and attempt mock tests regularly to improve your speed and accuracy. Also, work on your communication and analytical skills as these are crucial for an MBA program.

One of my friends went to NIT Calicut and he was able to provide some information regarding admission at the institute.

If you have completed your standard 12th or equivalent examination in India then for securing a seat at NIT Calicut, you need to appear for the JEE Mains entrance examination.
The marks and cutoff greatly vary every year. It also depends on your Home state and Other state categories. If you are from Kerala then you will have a 50% reservation. Thus you will have good chances of getting admissions compared to Other state students.
In case you are an NRI and completed standard 12th equivalent abroad, you need to clear the SAT with a good score to get a seat at NIT Calicut. In addition to these, there are few seats reserved for the students of SAARC countries.
If you are from OBC/SC/ST category, you will have a lesser cut-off.

So, you should focus on your preparation to get a good score in JEE Mains in order to get admission at NIT Calicut.

How to get admission in this college in btech?

Admission to NIT Calicut for a B.Tech does not require a separate application. Only centralised JoSAA counselling and JEE Main are used for admission.

No, without IIT JAM, you can not apply for admission to M.Sc. Program in NIT Calicut. The candidates who qualify IIT JAM with valid scores will have to appear for CCMT Counselling process for final admission.
