- Placement and alumini: the institute has an immense alumini network along with the placement cell which attracts the top high paying companies ensuring good job opportunities for the students.it also enables research and further studies.
- I appreciate nitc's commitment to academic excellence, with a strong faculty and diverse range of courses that provide a well-rounded education.
Dislikes
- In nit calicut gym was not free we want pay for it this thing i really hatred
- Fees are very high when we compared to other nits nit calicut collecting more fees which becoming heavy burden to poor students like me they don't even giving concession most of the people are not getting scholarships

Placement Experience:
The students are eligible to partipate in placements in there final year of the college. The few big recruiters are Google , Samsung, Sandisk, Intel... The highest package in our batch is 42 lakhs and average package is around 16 lakhs.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is as same as of the mechanical students it differs by one subject the curriculum has to be little bit diverse for effective understanding and teaching method was good in classes and in labs also

- Academic Pressure,Hectic Curriculum.completes a sem in 4 months
- girls to boys ratio of 1:4.There are only girls to fill the female quotta

From S7 itself students start getting placed.From S5 students get internships ,and then excellent of those students get PPO s from that companies. 208 companies visited NITC last year.1080 offers were made for 2025 graduants,187 internship for offered.out of the 1080 ,736 were for for UGs 344 for for PG.out of 862 UG students registered there were 736 offers made , percentage 85.38... max salary for UG is 50.64 LPA ,avg Salary is 12.41,median Salary is 9 LPA...for PGs 65.77 perecntage offers were made 523 studnets ..max salary offered was 39.27 LPA and avg Salary is 11.41 ,median Salary is 10.Computer science got 96.77 percentage.Larsen and Toubro is the company made most offers with 61 offers.Baja Auto and Chetak limited made 19 offers, Amdocs made 21 offers .Adani group 12,Aditya BIRLA 11,Accenture A,mazon ,BEL ,Caterpillar also made offers

Placement Experience:
Placements are better this year when compared with the last year. Last year was not up to the mark due to evolvement of AI, recession, and all other stuff.We got companies like Oracle, Salesforce,Increff, etc..
Placement Experience:
Overall NIT Calicut has good placment statistics, with an average CTC of aroung 12 Lakh per annum. Major recruiters include companies like Amazon, Dell, Texas Instruments, IBM etc. In Engineering Physics, only a few students participate in placements. While companies like Texas Instruments offers roles in electronics domain, most oppurtunites are in software development and data analysis. Additionally, IIT JEE coaching centers recruite students for trainee faculty positions. Internship oppurtunities are available from third year, and final placements occurs from fourth year. the minimum salary offered is 6 Lakhs per annum.

- I appreciate the climate of the college and course curriculums of M.Tech.
- College life is very nice and there will be so many social interactions and faculty interaction is also good. Faculty will teach very nice and they are very knowledgable.
Dislikes
- College politics and respective state people domination
- sometimes feel stress while working under project guide but not everytime
Placement Experience:
from 2nd semester onwards, students are eligible for the internships and placements. Companies like Samsung, IBM, Texas, NVIDIA, Intel, UTS, etc.... visited our college and on an average 50 to 60 offers made. Highest package offered is TEXAS which is 39.5LPA for both analog & digital role and average package is 18LPA
Placement Experience:
My branch is not an industry placement oriented branch. But placements are offered for higher studies into famed foreign institutes. I plan to pursue MS and PhD from abroad in quantum and theoretical physics.

- I LIKED THE FACT THAT I HAVE MANY FUNCTIONS MOST OF THE DAYS .THERE WILL BE SOME CULTURAL OR MUSICAL PROGRAM IN MOST WEEKENDS .
- THE FACUALTIES ARE VERY HELPFUL AND HIGHLY QUALIFIED WITH DEGREE ,MASTERS AND DOCRATE OR MORE.

- THE COLLEGE CLUBS ONLY CAN BE ACCESSED BY THE CLUB MEMBERS BUT NOT OTHERS
- THERE ARE SOME OLD BUILDINGS THERE WHICH NEED IMPROVEMENTS

FOR CONCECUTIVE 2 YEARS NITC SECURED 1000+ PLACEMENTS OFFER .COMPANIES LIKE GOLDMAN SACHS, TI , SALESFORCE, GOOGLE, D.E.SHAW, QUALCOMM,ORACLE, CISCO , ATLASSIAN, SAP LABS, MICRON MARVELL, SAMSUNG, FASTENAL, TCS, IBM, CATERPILLER , HCL, BOSCH, INFOSYS , WIPRO, SAMSUNG,MARUTI SUZUKI AND TATA MOTORS ARE INCLUDED IN THE 188 COMPANIES WHO CAME FOR COLLEGE PLACEMNTS. What is your review of the National Institute of Technology Calicut?
My sister completed her B.Tech from NIT Calicut a few years back. As a female student, she had a bitter experience at this college. Here are some of the things that she noticed during her stay at NIT Calicut-
- The girls hostel is very strict regarding outings. There is a fixed curfew from 7 pm to 6 am. Even for staying on campus after 7 pm, special permission is required.
- There are instances where you might encounter racism in the most casual manner, this is especially true for North Indian students.
- The hostel and college staff are blatantly partial towards female students and those who complain are told to leave the college.
- There is a system of daily roll call for female hostellers, which is again a gender-biased rule. The Resident Tutors are not supportive or helpful and may scold you for not attending the roll call even if you are new and not well aware of the hostel procedures.
- During LAN work or other repairs, no female attendee is present with the male workers within the girls hostel premises. The girls are expected to follow all the precautionary measures and no strict rules are laid for the male workers.
NIT Calicut is an institute of national importance with an excellent reputation and great placement records. However, as a female hosteller, my sister faced these obstacles which caused unnecessary frustration for her.
