campus life is very vibrant with lot of fest and programme
campus is full of greenery , buildings in the campus are well maintained
faculties in college are well experienced and educated

Dislikes

sports facilities are very poor compared to other nit
academics here is very tough and it can be made little easy
students and faculties don't have good relationship

Course Curriculum Overview

academics in nitc is not that tough if you study well enough you can score good cgpa. academics include labs and other activities . every sem there is midsem examination and endsem examination ,other than this internal exams are also present.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

at the admission i paid 61142 and extra tutuin fees of 60000 . hostel rent fees is 9000 . mess fees is 160 rupees per day . there is various scholarship for students whose income is less than 1 lakh. you have to pay caution deposit 20000

Campus Life

campus life in nitc is the best . major fest in nitc is ragam and tathva , ragam is the cultural fest and tathva is the tech fest . every student can assess books from library easily . every classroom includes projectors and blackboards

Admission

i chose this college because it was the best i could get with my rank in jee examination . to get into nitc you need a minimum of 96 percentile in jee examination. you can secure your admission through josaa portel

Faculty

the faculty in nitc is well educated and experienced . they have done their phd in their respected subjects . most of the faculties are approachable while some of them are not . frequency of exam is very high and they are no that that difficult

Night Life

the campus is open for 24 hours . there is not that much restriction inside the campus . for first year curfew is there but for 2nd year onwards there is no curfew for hostel timing . canteens inside the campus will be open ill 11 pm

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
