Calicut University Institute of Engineering Technology was started in the year 2001. It is governed by University of Calicut. Hostels: College has separate hostels for boys and Girls. Boys hostels has 90 students capacity and girls hostels has 195 students capacity. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food is served in mess.
Festivals:
- Disksha Fest: It is one the biggest technical and cultural fest in south India in which students from prominent institute participates.
- Soccer Fiesta: It is inter college football competition held by college to promote gaming spirit in the students
- Kesave: It is Onam celebration of college
- Blaze: It is 4 days annual cultural and technical fest conducted by the college in which various events are organized.

- My college has a green environment. My campus is a good green campus
- My campus has a good faculty, many are temporary but there are permanent professors also.

- The lab facilities require a much more maintainence.
- The university paper valuation is a little bit stricter.
Admission:
Entry to our college is through Keam Entrace exam( Kerala Engineering And Medical) . Cut off requires minimum marks as to qualify the keam exam. One who qualifies Keam can get admission. Also there are NRI seats, where the fees varies. They have tution fees of 1 lakh per year. All other expenses are same as everyone

- less availability of courses ,only 5 departments are available

you should be qualified for the KEAM entrance examination. details about application forms, fees, and dates will be provided on their official website. sslc,+2 are their basic qualification for the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course have an breif history of all era of printing and packaging technology. In my opinion there should be little more updates in Syllabus. According to my knowledge there is a newly revised syllabus in very 5 years.

The campus is student friendly. The atmosphere is good enough for academic of students.

Because It was under the direct control of Calicut University and it also provide all the basic facilities and atmosphere that one can aspire and expect from a college campus.The college is under the direct control of Vice chancellor and It is the only college in Kerala to provide Btech Under Calicut University and The Btech Degree from Calicut University is of great value.

I'm so lucky to study in such a prestigious college. More than academics it helped me to earn human qualities like unity, perfect decision making and could understand my innate abilities. And I have got too many memories like youth festival, IV and tech fests etc
Admission:
I have good memories in my life and experiences as it was an adventure ride. There was no atmosphere of learning and whatever you achieve say getting your degree within the stipulated time is a great achievement. As it requires lot of hardwork as your path is derailed at the start and it requires a mamooth effort to get on track by starting to focus by the end or 3r year. There was no management as the college was run by University Syndicate which higly politicised and left treeated it as a revolutionary ideas grooming ground not an educational institution.

Bad remark is we have no play grounds and well conditioned lab technologies.
