the campus has very beautiful environment which will give peace
the architecture of the college is very nice
there are many experinced faculties in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually im more into the electronics from the beginning so I took ECE in our campus we have lot of faculty which is sufficient and efficient The faculty is highly qualified and experienced we have mid exams and end exams which will have decent time in between

oracle 1 lakh , golmansack 1.5 lakhs , P&G 3lakhs , Bajaj 30000 ,Texas 1 lakh, American Express 700000 these are some companies which came for our campus for internships there will be coding projects

Placement Experience

from the seventh semester students will be eligible for college placements Companies like TI, Micron, Oracle, Cisco, LNT, IBM, TCS, HCL, Google, Salesforce, etc., visited our campus for placements highest package is 47 lakhs and average package is 19.29 laks 84 % people get placed I'm planning fo CAT

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is different for different categories for me the cost of fee is affordable i did not get scholarship or any other financial assistance on campus i am still in 3 rd year so there is no placement drive yet in my campus

Campus Life

Tathva is a technical fest which will be conducted in October month usually and Ragam is a non tech fest which will be held in March There will a lot of sources for knowledge in the library the classrooms are a bit There is huge sport activities there are many clubs like DND , LND etc in our campus

Hostel Facilities

there will a wifi connection and the rooms are for 2 members its average and the menu is small the registration is simple because we have an app and the affordability is average no I did not rent any hostels outside the campus

Hostel Fee: INR 63000 per year

Admission

yes i took JEE Mains for entering into NIT Calicut In JOSAA there will be the application form and the counseling process for JEE MAINS Im SC category so I had SC reservation it should me more understandable and less complex

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Details Of NITC

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
