Remarks

I think this college is best for someone who want best cgpa and not for someone who wants a job immediately after the course. This college has some best infrastructures and faculties but the place where college is situated is very rural. For someone who wants a job after their studies should not take admission in this kind of place as a matter of fact that it will be difficult for many recruiting companies to get in touch with this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was very bad. The syllabus was very wide to cover with in a semester for students. But the college managed to complete the syllabus with in every semester but the students wasn't getting enough time for studying and understanding topics throughout.

Placement Experience

1

Placement is very average and only limited to certain IT firms. And for mechanical and other branches placements are very weak infact zero placement were happened in my four years of engineering life for mechanical students. Internships was a joke in this college as faculties were not interested in this kind of activities. If happened was only because of students pressure. If you want to get a job from this college by placements, better take CSE or do not take admission in this college.

College Events

4.5

Events and celebrations were average to good range. Onam celebration were great but when it comes to arts day celebrations so many restrictions were there for the students and night programs were cancelled for some reasons every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was okay for merit seats. For management and nri seats fees was very high when compared to other colleges. I don't think that much money was worth for studying there.Merit fees was acceptable and scholarship were provided for deserving ones by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship provided to the students who scored higher marks in their KEAM examinations and the college help in getting loans from banks. Fees were reduced for students who had gain higher marks in their respective entrance examinations.

Campus Life

3.5

The lab facility for some departments where excellent and for some were average other extra curricular activities where excellent in the college. But the sports was not so great. Students were also participating in other programs like NSS and we got the best college unit award for NSS and other awards for the students for their best performance in social work.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel was good but the gymnasium was very below average. Food was good and hostel warden was very friendly towards the students. The hostel was great fun in that college and I think the hostellers had the best life there. Hostel fee was affordable for students.

Alumni/Alumna

Based on my seniors opinion, alumini network is very weak and also I didn't expect a good after college connection with the college as they are not inviting them in case if some programs were organised. I hope it will become better in future.

Admission

I got allotment through KEAM 2015 examination and took admission in this college. The admission process was very smooth and the staffs were very friendly.I had attended a bridge course afterwards and it helped me to know more about college and new University rules and regulations and as well as the courses.

Faculty

2.5

Some are the best you can get in kerala and some were average performing. Besides that in my opinion everyone there was very hardworking. Most of them are very friendly towards students and help very much in their academics.

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students. The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. There are many programs to improve our placement capabilities. These programs provide spoken English classes and PMKVY Yojana classes. S6 and S7 students have the opportunity to attend placement sessions. The average package that the companies usually provide is 200,000 per annum. Usually, 10-15 students get placed in the first session, and the rest will be considered in the other upcoming sessions. I'm planning to do ethical hacking course after the degree
