Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum emphasis on problem solving, critical thinking and communictaion skills. The internal exams which tests students understanding of concepts, help build confidence in applying theoretical knowledge to practice prblems.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total 4year Btech fees was 3,60,000(90,000 per year). It depends on many factors, mine was managemnet seat thats why 90,000/year. For merit seats, the fee ranges from 20,000 to 50,000 based on the rank of the student, the higher the rank the lesser the fee will be. Also there were students who took educational loan. To be eligible ,you need to have a minimum of 50% in maths and 50% aggregate in maths ,physics and chemistry in your 12th standard. Please note that these fees may be subject to change ,and you should check the college's official website or contact them directly for most up-to-date information.

Campus Life

4

The college hosts various annual and tecnical fests . One of the notable vent in Tech fest mostly held in even sem(jun/july).In addition of that the college also celebrates cultural fests like onam, chritsmas, etc. The college library boasts impressive collection of books and journals and they are easy to access.Classrooms are equiped with facilities including projectors. Vollryball, kabbadi, badminton, etc are some of the popular sports with tournaments organized regularly .The college has an active NSS which plays a vital role in promoting social responsibility and community service.

Admission

Admission process was based on 12th grade marks and entrance exam mark. 50% marks in Maths and overall 50% aggreagte in maths, physics amd chemistry. And then documents verifications and interview with principal and after that confirm you seat by paying required seat.

Faculty

4

My overall experience was a mix of positives and negatives.I had some great interactions with faculty members and enjoyed campus life.Somer faculty members were very friendly and helpful and supported when needed. Some were unfriendly. The marking scheme for internsal exams varied. Some teachers gave good marks for detailed answers, while others were more strict and gave lower marks, even when points were there. There are two internal exams,in addition to the final exam. The internal exams are not too hard. The questions are based on the syllabus and are not expected to answer questions outside the scope of the course. The questions are similar to what taught in class. But still students fail due their negligence.

Night Life

1

Students are not allowed to go out at night. They have to stay in hostel at night time. And also there are no near hangout places near college. 6pm is the curfew time for girls hostel. Boys hostel timings may vary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
