Course Curriculum Overview

Production engineering is the course that I always been keen to take it National Institute of Technology Calicut being a best place for my insights and my course that I will be taking So the college is so good with all the best faculty in our course.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 33834 per year

Internships Opportunities

Around 207 internships are provided for UG students and 107 for PG students and college makes sure that every student make use of every opportunity.And companies like IBM provide good stipend of 30000 for students. Which makes it very helpful for student needs and provide best experience for their future job

Placement Experience

Placements are pretty good and students from 6th semester get eligible for placements There are many large scale companies which visited our college in past few years like Qualcomm,Oracle etc.Average package is about 1600000.percentage of students getting placements is above 80percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The full tuition fee for one year is 1,30,000 including admission fee, development fee,lab fee ,etc.My other friend with reservation have different fee compared to me that is 80000. I don't have any scholarship or anything.

Campus Life

National Institute of Technology Calicut conducts many fests and programs to encourage students to take out their inner talent other than studies To cope up with their mental health.So sports like cricket ,football are also provided and plays a major role in shaping students life in campus

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are well Maintained and students can feel secured there is a proper system to ensure best facilities for students.In a room there are 3beds provided and WiFi is provided too in the hostel.Food is pretty decent but can be improved. affordable

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Admission to this college was made through JEE examination which is held every year. With my pretty decent score I thought of preferring National Institute of Technology Calicut for my preferred course.

Faculty

There will be one professor for approx 40students so that there will be healthy relationship between faculty and students they are so encouraging and helps us in every situation and explaination is done in well mannered.

Night Life

Night life in the college is so peaceful and calm Many students hangout out together during midnight and they enjoy the most. There is a gymnasium in the college for those who are interested and want to keep Their body in shape.there are few places to hang out

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
