Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum at jyothi engineering college is well structured and covers the fundamental concepts required for the field. it provides a balanced mix of theory and practical learning through labs, assignments, and prjects. the curriculam helps students build a strong academic base and prepares them for higher studies and industrial roles.

Placement Experience

5

Studends eligible from 6th sem.Top recruiters Infosys,TCS.Highest package 12LPA,avg 4LPA. 75% placed. My plan is to get placed via campus drive.and a secure a job through a campus and also upskill in technologies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee structure for my course is approximately 3,00,000 to 3,50,000per year.this includes tution fees, registration fees, lab fees, development fees, and other compulsory acedemic charges. at the time of admission,a one time admission fee and caution deposit of around 5000 to 10000 were also paid. the total cost for the complete 4 year B.tech course is approximately 3,00,000 to 3,50,000 depending on additional university and exam charges. the fee structure usually remains almost the same each year with only small variations in exam or university fees. students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories can apply for govnt scholarships such as the post matric scholarship and E-Granatz provided by the kerala govnt.

Campus Life

5

Annual fest:Sargam in apr. Tech fest: Tharang in odd sem. Library has 39k+ books, journals, net access. Classrooms have smart boards, projectors. Sports:cricket, football, indoor games. Clubs:IEEE,NSS,IEDC. Good campus life

Hostel Facilities

5

separate hostels for boys and girls with24/7 security. Rooms are spacious, sharing basis, with bed,table,fan,Wi-Fi. meal quality is decent with veg/non-veg;menu rotates weekly. registraction done at admission time, affordable fees 65k/year.

Admission

I chose this college because it has good teachers and a friendly campus . the labs ans classes are good for ECE study. the college also has good support for student projects and tech events. the admission was through KEAM exam.simple and clear the process

Faculty

5

faculty members are generally qualified and supportive and most of them are approacheble when students need help with academic doubts. the faculty to student ratio is decent, which allows teachers to give attention to students during classes.some professors explain concepts clearly and also guids students with assignments and projects.however , a few faculty members rely more on traditional teaching methods. the course structure is fairly organized and covers the core fundamentals of the subject. exams are conducted through internal assessments, assignments and semster end exam.the difficulty level of exams is moderate, and students who attend classes regularly and prepare well usually pass without much difficulty.the curriculum is relevant but could be updated more frequently to match current industry requirements.

Night Life

5

Nightlife is limited at my college due to rural location. Gym,Library, canteen close by 8 PM. hostel in time is 7-8 PM,gates closed by 9 PM. students hang out at canteen, basketball court,or neraby nila river bridge before evening.

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
