IES College of Engineering (IESCE) was established in 2003. It is a hi-tech technical training institution, under self-financing scheme, run by the Ideal Educational Society and managed by the various committees of IES. It provides excellent facilities that go beyond the demands of these apex bodies. It is located in a lush green picturesque land in Chittilappilly, Thrissur, Kerala. It offers under graduate and post graduate Engineering courses.

The college approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi
It is affiliated to University of Calicut
It is the 2^nd college in Kerala State to offer M.Tech course in Geotechnical Engineering.

Already take admission in Coimbatore Hindustan college because of the college is too nice and campus more than big so many course and so many's students hostelers and but fees too high and exam are easy because of college is autonomous college answers are valued by their own faculty and their no supply in that college but in hear the teachers no care about our valuable answers

College timing need to be changed as it creates chaos to get on bus.college buses are too expensive.

Admission:

Home is near to the college so it is the major reason to choose this institution and I got average rank in keam exam so that I won't be accepted in gec Thrissur which is one of the best engineering institute in kerala.you only have to clear the keam exam then you can apply in this college

My experience

Likes

The classes and campus is cleaned everyday before the students reach the college
There's college canteen in the campus for snacks and lunch . A big ground for games and programs even though there's no class hours alloted for physical games
To till this day I haven't seen or experience any ragging

Dislikes

Very poorly managed classroom utilities. When a lights , fans or the tables are damaged, and even after complaining and request repair it taked many days to get replaced or repaired.
The programs conducted on the college is so limited , that majority of the students are going to other colleges for programs
The road path inside the college is not maintained at all. It's even worse than some public roads

Admission:

I applied for few other colleges and got admission there and i attended the classes for few days but not at all satisfied as the travel distance is much longer and there are only limited transportation. So i opted for this college as its considerably close compared to other colleges i opted. And the hostel facility is not a considerable option for Me. As i get into management quota, there were cutoff of 60% 12th standard marks + need to be KEAM qualified candidate. The admission process went very smoothly as expected as i started the class the next day after admission.

Bus service is also so good and comfortable

Very very strict never consider that we are a college student
Lack of students cause more students more like a class
Lack of celebration.like college is the final studies still not celebrating things

In my case they called me if i needed this course. The admission went very smoothly. The classes started after about a month or so after the admission so i guess there is a waiting time. Other than that everything was good

Areas where we can have fun and chat with friends
Campus area and few labs , play ground etc..
Computer lab in first and second floor are good

Dislikes

Fans in some classroom are not properly working
Some desk are not good and we have told about it
Boys bathroom in ground floor is not good

Admission:

Admission process was smooth and all, you can admission here if you have about 40000 rank in keam or u could take admission. Sometimes the admission process take a lot of time so you jave to wait a litle long other than that its fine

IES Engineering College positive and Negative

Admission:

Admission Based on the KEAM entrance exam held by the Commissioner of Entrance examinations. Entrance Exams are conducted every year in April. Students who appeared or completed plus two with 50% Marks are Eligible to attempt the KEAM entrance examination. Admission is purely Based on marks get at the KEAM entrance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course curriculum is based on APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. There is no much campus recruitment. All the faculty keeps changing so it's even hard to remember their names even. It is a good college with average management.

A Staff Strike was held on 2013, which got media attention. It last for 3 months. College management had fired some staff members without any notice. College management doesnt support with funds for programmes.

IES College of Engineering (IESCE), Thrissur, does not offer a B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) program. It is an AICTE-approved engineering college affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and the University of Calicut, offering B.Tech and M.Tech degrees.

The fee for the Btech course is INR 1.24 Lakhs per year, and for the MTech course is INR 70,000 at the IES College of Engineering.
