Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

About the course i choose if we are taking about that I had no idea what to choose and that's how I ended up choosing ai. I needed something devloping and growing and ai was one such trending course its even trending now.so on the basis of trend I choose the course.my course really prepares me for the real world approach since my faculty supports me through. i guess if there was a way of teaching where you are not studying coding through the black board instead you try to code and study that makes a whole level of difference in the studying level. Our teachers do provide us with labs but I guess it should be increased. About exams it's under ktu University, they do give breaks before exams to study and all but the results is in the hands of University, u won't get ur revaluation results before the next sem registration and that puts us in real trouble. I suggest not to choose a college under ktu .

Internships Opportunities

2.5

The college doesn't provide us with any internship. We should find intership for ourselves and we should go and do the intership all by ourselves when the university gives us the intership break. I found and an intership all by myself as a data analyst traineee at medtoureasy. My intership only happens in the coming month so I haven't made any projects based on intership. But I do have made projects for hackathons .

Placement Experience

4

From S6 you get eligible for placement if you have the cut off cgpa which is set by the company.a lot of companies visit our college from small to big packages.even German companies visit our college placement drive. The highest package Last year was 12 LPA ,3 people got placed at State Bank of India for 12 LPA.about 80% of students get placed if they have a great cgpa students get offer from more than 3 companies. But there are also chances where they for placed even after having supplies .my plans after getting the degree is to get placed as a data analyst if not I would love to do mtech in the same subject.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have actually 3 ways of admission in our college the NRI, then the merit seat and then the management seat. I choose the management seat . For the management seat u should qualify keam and u should the cut off mark in 12 th .so based on the management seat for each sem you should pay 44000. Next on the merit seat u get everything for free .the NRI seat is basically but u should pay for the seat. But the semester fee remains the same which is 44000. Now talking about scholarships the college provides with scholarships based on our keam ranks and other basis as well if u deserve it. And even there are scholarship which are provided by the government which is accepted by our college.

Campus Life

5

The main tech fest is held in month of November. It happens on two days . The event is called tharang. And it is the technical fest of Jyothi Engineering College.and then we have all other events like arts day ,sports day, fresher day, onam, Christmas, college day, hostel day and much more.we have a larger library with approximately 4000+ books , and also we do have a digital library with digital ebooks and previous year question papers. And we also have department library as well.we have projectors and WiFi in our class room .the whole college is wifi enabled. We even have air conditioned class rooms .sports have a very less value in our college students do go for University events and the do support , but they don't try to bring out other. Students as well , hackathons and other technical based events happens daily.yea there are a lot IEDC ,GDSC,IEEE,CSI and much more communities these allows students to gain leadership skills as well as to network with other people.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I will recommend hostel instead of another pg because hostel provides a much more protection and better life and better food.on first year it's a 3 share room we get bed ,table and a chair and a shelf for each the rooms are not bath attached. From second year it's two share but the room is small but u get provided with all the same things.the food menu is decided by the students we get better and yummy food . There is no issues reported till now about the hostel food. Everything is neat and made in a clean way even the workers wear caps and gloves while cooking and serving.about the registration process u only need to fill a form from the college and pay a caution deposit of rupees 10000. Then your admission gets done. And monthly u should pay 5000 .this 5000 won't be completely used if we are leaving the hostel on weekends we can do a mess cut through the website so the mess bill gets reduced.for me every month it only costed 4000 only .the hostel has times and regulations as well .

Admission

Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in. And after that we registered for the uniform and then the hostel and then we talked with the teachers in my department that was pretty much about my admission my admission went really smooth.it was really smooth and easy i didn't go through any trouble or delay.

You can interact with teachers anytime. They are always open to talk with us. All the teachers are mtech graduates in the main departments. Where as for first years we have mca and msc graduates since it's basics. Then we have PhD graduates who are very good with the subject. The teachers are all attached with the students like a friend. Am pretty sure I can open up to my tutor and talk anything personal with him . We are that close . The student faculty ratio is also fine we have like two tutors for each class . And the subject teachers are like One for sixty fours students that's actually pretty not a pretty good ratio but if we request to the college we get provided with more faculties as we require. The college teachers always tries to bring the best inside us and always true to stand togather with us for our skill devolpment, education and much more. The teachers always try to promote skill devolpment.they always asks us to study things that promote our skills .

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
