Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum to my batch is under-average as only the introduction to each subject is taught to us. I would say that what is teaches is pretty good. On real-word scenario, I would say it just touches the basic need. And I would suggest that if there is more practical experience rather than theoretical base which help us to learn from experience . Also, I don't think there is a need to change the current exam style.

Internships Opportunities

4

Alibi Global Pvt.Ltd under Cyber Security Intern role with 500Rs stipend. KaarTech under SAP with stipend of 5000Rs and 10000Rs. Ashok Leyland under Mech, ECE, and EEE with stipend of 5000Rs-12000Rs Also, we have on-campus companies like Genrobotics, Powertronix and FaceIn. I was in Alibi Global Pvt.Ltd for intership where I got to learn about Cyber Forensic Investigation and documentation

Placement Experience

5

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly Fees - 50,000Rs(Original Price was 80,000Rs but our college has scholarship system which will provide fee cuts of upto 75% according to plus two grades) The fee structure includes - 40,000Rs on Tuition Fees and 10,000Rs on Other Fees. No, other fees except for college celebration funds which is conducted by the students.

Campus Life

5

The campus life in our college is great actually with a positive student and teacher interaction, with great social aspects. Our college promotes social activities and club activities like NSS, YRC, IEEE, IEDC, CSI, TinkerHub and many more, where all student can involve. Current infrastructure is a bit lagging for sure but it is going to change soon as each and every department is currently doing renovations. The annual festivals in our college include Obsqura, Sports festival, Ethnic festivals, and Extracurricular activities day. We've got a large area of book to refer and a Lab for library to do research on papers. Currently, more than 70% of our college is having smart classrooms including mine. There is an etlab.icet.in portal for students.

Admission

This college was not my first preferrence. I had first chosen college of engineering, palakkad at civil branch. But I had to change my plan as I had heard about the boom of Cybersecurity and my interest towards technology. And at that time, there were only 3 colleges where Cyber Security was offered, I was rejected from Muthoot Engineering College due to not reaching the engineering rank the had hoped for and I chose Ilahia College in a spur of a moment cause it was near to my home and had a great review. I was easily accepted at Ilahia College due to my plus two score and I got a merit seat at the college.

Faculty

5

The faculties in our college are student-friendly easy-to-approach and helps clear our doubts. The faculty-to-student ratio at the college is 1:30. The faculty I like are Dr. Jinu Mohan, HOD Dr.Rosna P Haroon, Asst. Prof. Haseena M K; I personally like them cause even though they are at high position at our college. The help us whenever we need them. There is no faculties, that I should be disliking as they are that much close to us on thick and thin. There are 2 series exams and 1 semester exams which to me is average. And the pass percentage is 80% and this mark carries 1/3rd weight in main semester exams.

Night Life

4

Our campus has a strict policy of closing all activites other that college festivals at 7PM for girls and 8PM for Boys. The night life of our college is not that great but late-evening time we spend there are one of the best memmorable momments. We have two well-equiped gyms with one inside girls dorm and other is at campus centre where the timings are 4:30 PM to 6:00PM for girls and after that for boys till 8PM. Our locality is not that safe to roam arround as there is an issue of no lights around the road areas.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
