Generally the courses and the syllabus at Amrita University is known to be tough and even compared to the syllabi of other prestigious institutions like IITS and NITS so regarding the syllabus it tests the various aspects like understanding of the topics and some problems were really challenging and fun to solve so

Campus Life

the placements at amrita are excellent and the track record of placements is also really good ive also enquired with my cousin and some other senior batchmates all of them gave good feedback regarding the placement at amrita so regarding placements Amrita is excellent

Hostel Facilities

The college Hostel provides cool,hot water to drink , warm water to bath , free wifi the meal is full vegeterian , regarding menu every night chapati is avaliable with different curries, registration process of hostel is not too much complicated it is automaticly done during college registration

Admission

i choose Amrita University ive heard about university from my cousin who pursued his computer Science degree over there so he suggested me to go for it and moreover i just scored 92.3 percentile in JEE so i couldn't get any top tier NITS and IIITS so i choose amrita over other private university

Faculty

The Faculty in our college is really friendly and helpful because one day i had a query regarding an assignment my faculty called me and resolved my issue and i found that really Wonderful Many such instances were threre where our faculty helped us in such problematic situations her name is dr.sruthi anand and even the c program teacher Geetha mam

Night Life

thr events at amrita are very good , they provide free gym access to students , but compared to other colleges amrita doesnt have many events , because the university is more based on discipline and stuff so if you want to enjoy life and stuff this is not a good option ,

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

Basically like everyone I also gave JEE but didnt manage to land a NIT or an IIT. After that among private colleges amrita seemed the best choice for me. Based on the ROI for me it atleast looked best option. AEEE rank cutoff for cse(ai) in slab 2 for all india is at 3.5k rank. Whereas for the first slab its 1.5k and 7k for third slab. I applied for VIT also but didnt go there despite securing a seat because of the huge crowd there. For jee mains cutoff for slab2 is 95-97 %ile whereas for first slab it is 98+ and for 3rd slab its clearing the cutoff basically....Read More
