Sree Narayana College Scholarships
There are various kinds of scholarships that are provided by Central and State Government; the major ones are mentioned below -
- Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship (SJMS): The student must belong to a BPL 1 family and must have scored at least 50% or above in the qualifying exam. This scholarship is for UG as well as PG students and offers INR 10,000 per annum.
- Post Metric Scholarship (PMS): This is sanctioned by the Ministry of Minority Affairs. To qualify for this scholarship, the student must belong to a Muslim/ Latin converted Christian community and must score 50% or above in the following examination.
- State Merit Scholarship: This is sanctioned by the Department of Collegiate Education Government of Kerala. To qualify for the scholarship, the student must have scored 50% or above in the qualifying examination and the annual income of family must not exceed 1 Lac. The scholarship offers INR 1250 per annum to Graduation Students and INR 1500 per annum to Post Graduation Students.

The College provides students with various kinds of amenities, out of which some of them are listed below:
- Central Library - There is a huge building block behind the main building that is somewhere around 6000 sq. ft. with over 46082 books and journals of acknowledged writers and authors.
- Computer Centre: The College has 120+ computers as well as 22 printers with high-speed LAN computing. There are eight mini-computer labs and 2 main ones.
- Hostel: The College has hostel building for accommodation services for girls. As the hostel can accommodate only 75 students, so the students are allotted the hotel on the basis of merit to provide the studious students with a serene and calm environment for academic progress.
- Fitness Centre: The College is equipped with all basic necessities for fitness training and also has playfields for various kinds of outdoor games.
- Canteen: The Canteen has both non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian food items at cheap prices.
- Capability Enhancement Centre: It is a centre associated with language laboratories, bridge courses, remedial coaching, career counselling and many more.

- Campus is so awesome. There is a plenty of space where you could study or hang out with friends and also have canteen
- Faculties are very good and interactive.

- The political ambience of the college is bad. The only party is SFI and they behave like dictators there

I got allotted to CUSAT kochi. But I didn't see myself as an engineer so I didn't go for that. I also got admitted to MSM Kayamkulam. But the reputation of that collage is pretty bad and students are mostly criminals and thugs.

My 3 Rd allotment was this college.first I take admission In environmental science in anchal college but the teachers of my previous college asked it's not good course.so I cancelled admission then next allotment will get this course. There is no entrance exam .here the Kerala University open the admission portal,then we applied here on the basis of graduation results.

- The best thing that I like most in our college is library facility. There are more than 1 lakh books are there in our college , along with extensive reading room with all the infrastructure facilities including a laptops, printers etc .
- The other thing that I like most is the infrastructure facility. The college is well equipped with innovative technologies. There are separate buildings and rooms for girl students, like a washroom a special washroom is provided for a girl students
Dislikes
- The most important thing that I disliked in my college is about the strict character of the college campus . Students are free but somehow many rules are imposed upon the students and we are forced to follow these rules which are not comfortable.
- I have a dislike for our syllabus. The semester exams are coming so fast and the syllabus seems pending and it is quite difficult to cover all the portions before the exams.
Admission:
I have applied for many colleges for pursuing masters in political Science. I have choosen Sree Narayana College, Kollam out of five selected colleges . I have a passion towards the college because many eminent personalities and social reformers have studied in our college. I really got inspired by them . And it is also one of the prestigious college in the district. Actually I have applied for five colleges for my masters and I got selected from all these five colleges . And this college ( Sree Narayana College, Kollam)is my own personal choice. There are mainly two types of admission process in our college. First one is merit based and the other one is community quota or management quota. No special exams are conducted by the college authorities for admission purposes. Most of the students are admitted to the college based on their previous exam marks.

- Clean campus and good atmosphere also many many trees and good atmosphere for studying. Sn college is one of the best college in kerala so many programmes
- Campus is in the centre of the kollam town, The campus is very beautiful and large. So many parks and gardens in the campus also so many stadium and quorts in the campus like fooball, cricket, kho kho , net ball
Dislikes
- Management is also asking higher fees for no reason. No any other issues
- Drinking water and coolers are not working

The sn college is one of the best colleges in kerala. I entered the college through the community quota admission. Other colleges don't have facilities like this college and feeses are very high. The eligibility is +2. I got first admission in christ nagar college maranaloor. It is a self financing college there feeses are very high soo i didn't taked admission there
Dislikes
- Sometimes conflicts happen especially during the election phase
- Canteen is small and there is less place but food is better

There is no entrance exam we need atleast plus2 qualification.i got admission through allotment and then i got a date for the admission process which i think is not stressing. We have short interview with the principal. And then we have to buy the books if we want and pay other fees

Through allotment procedure of Kerala University.The institution officials checked all details and documents, eligibility criteria on the scheduled day of admission.After going through some procedures, finally alloted.Students are facing great lagging in the allotment publishing of University.

Admission:
No one college in kollam district. I had opt for a double degree program called bsc botany and biotechnology. Here we need a previous study background (higher secondary) in science streams which include biology as our main subject. The admission process is by registering the portal of official site of Kerala university in the following years. The application fees varies in every years. Reservation can be allowed for category OBC

The admission process was pretty easy, I got merit admission into the college. eligibility of the course was Plus two passes. I find the the application form and find out about the fee structure on the official website of Kerala university. They had a reservation policy for SC and ST castes. I suggest that they only give importance to the mark than the community at the time of admission

Sree Narayana College is a Private Institute located in Kollam, Kerala. SNC Kollam offers BA, B.Sc, and B.Com courses at the UG level along with MA, M.Sc, M.Com, and Diploma programs at the PG level. In addition to it, SNC Kollam also offers Ph.D. at the research level. For admission to BA, B.Com, and B.Sc programs, candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board of education. For MA and M.Sc courses, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. The eligibility of the course is higher secondary education. I got admission into the merit system by the Kerala govt. I applied online in the UG application portal. In the portal, we can find all the details and upload the marks got in plus two. I have no other reservation benefit. Also, management seats are available.
