My experience in nitt

A lot of the seniors i know have got internships at top firms like google, unilever, p&g, etc. It also has a 3 month long internship placement process with lot of companies visiting the campus so its a great opportunity.

Pretty decent placements with average package of 14lpa for production engineering department with top firm P&G, Unilever, Google, Amazon, etc.. so its worth choosing nitt over other colleges unless you get into iits

My course B.Tech in Production Engineering is pretty expensive as it is a Engineering course and the labs and equipments are pretty expensive. My course costs around 12 lakh for 4 years including all expenses like tuition fee,library,lab fee, mess and hostel fees. Since the main feature of these Central government institutes are peer group most people here stay in hostel so you can't neglect that. Which also has provided a great forum to meet people and improve my social skills and make me a bettet person every day. It is a great opportunity to improve your lifestyle itself completely so do work hard.

Hostel has pretty good facilities but since its a government college you cant expect facilties like A.C, washing machine. It also has poor washroom facilities also during summer since its trichy it becomes very hot without ac

I applied to various colleges like top iits and iiits but because of jee rank i couldn't make it to all those universities. I also had various options like taking top courses in tier 2,3 nits and private colleges

Highly equipped faculties with a great interest knowledge and contacts in both industrial knowledge as well as research based learning so its a great opportunity if you are looking to go for higher education as well as placements.

Night life nothing that much since its in a tier 2/3 city Tiruchirappalli so theres very less spots to hang out outside college campus but its a 600 acres campus so its has a lot of great hang out spots
