Government College of Engineering Keonjhar is a state government-run higher educational institute. It was established in 1995 having Mining Engineering as the only branch and subsequently other branches were added to it. It is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology [BPUT]. Govenment College of Engineering is ranked among the top 10 Engineering Colleges in Odisha.
At present, Government College of Engineering Keonjhar offers B.Tech in 7 different specializations on 60 seats for each. B.Tech admission is granted through a valid JEE score. Admission through jee mains rank. And cut off cse is around 1.5 lakh for general. The admission process is through ojee counselling and seat alloted in rounds. You have to submit some security fees to freeze your seat.
